Not bad Travelodge off a busy road in the new forest though Convenient to access. Accommodation is good for a comfortable stay. A minutes drive is the tranquil setting of the new forest. If you can get a good deal it be a convenient and pleasant base as well as a good stop over.

Hotel is comfortable, clean and in a pleasant location. (Forestry all around). The one downfall is that it is not straightforward to travel in an easterly direction because of the dual carriageway. Enjoyed the stay.

stayed for 2 nights and hotel very clean, reception staff very polite and helpful. very little road noise despite being in front of the hotel next to the A31. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the New Forest.

A good hotel overall as very near to the New Forest and so many lovely things to do there. It is a bit awkward to get in and out of as it's on a very busy dual carriageway but this was expected. The family room was a good size even with the 2 extra beds up for the kids. We... More

30 July 2015 My wife & I stayed at this Travelodge whilst competing at the New Forest Show. The room was clean and for a one night stay (less than 8 hours) it suited our needs - and here comes the BUT: it is right on the A31 which is an extension of the M27 and is the main road... More

The hotel was adequate. That is all I can say in a positive manner. I was not expecting such road noise from the dual carriage way and the Little Chef could not cope with the demand of a busy weekend. I was also dissappointed that the room did not have blackout curtains.

When you first see the Travelodge at Stoney Cross, it looks a little run down, but inside it is clean, tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was very comfortable.

I have stayed at this Travelodge before and this stay was every bit as good as previously. The facilities and the room were all excellent. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and could not have been more helpful. At my request I asked to change the allocated room for one we had stayed in before and this was done... More
