The room was fine and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Little Chef is clean and tidy, friendly staff- Nicky and Kinga made us feel welcome. The food is good and nicely presented.

As other reviewers mentioned, the manager is charming & welcoming. He provided top tips about the area, a map of clever ways to approach hotel (on one side of A31; can be confusing) He ensured I had a nice room. I had a delicious sleep experience in the cosy bed! Plenty of shelves and desk space to spread your things... More

Let me start by saying that I have never written a bad review in all my life!! I read other reviews and often think "fussy people" , I now become the fussy one!! Reception took about twenty to twenty five minutes to turn up! Once in the room I sat on the bed and discovered a lump under my backside... More

Stay for 2 nights in September pre cruise. Our expectations were not great due experience in London some time ago. This hotel has restored my faith in the chain. The reception staff could not have been nicer, very informative and professional. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. Perfect start to our holiday, thankyou.

Relatives recently came down to visit and I had the privilege of escorting them to this lovely, relatively undiscovered hotel. The manager, who checked them in personally, was friendly, helpful and informative. My sister, who can be difficult to please, found him charming and so personable that she said that she wanted to stay for longer. The standards of the... More

Met our expectations as a value for money base for our holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room clean and comfortable. The limited access from one side of the dual carriageway could be a problem for some. We did not have any meals there so can't comment on the food..

Stayed one night on way to Poole ferry. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Some road noise despite double glazing but was not a problem. A good standard room for a Travelodge an helpful staff.

Extended our one night stay three times as this TL is so convenient for the New Forest, Lyndhurst, Southampton and the Isle of Wight. We were room number 1, ground floor facing road and had no problem ignoring the slight road noise that permeates. Staff very friendly and Littlr Chef next door is accepatble.

Stayed for 5 nights. Room clean and tidy, we have stayed in a lot of travelodges and this room was one of the largest . Great location for touring the new forest, book in advance and it is great value for money. Ample parking and as we found there are plenty of local walks. All the staff were friendly and... More

We had trouble finding it but we haven't been in that area before. Room was great with facilities. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Paulo was a great host when we arrived. Having the little chef was a bonus. Food was lovely. Although its based next to the road. Its not noisy at all. This was our first time in... More
