Travelled from Scotland to attend family wedding, situated next to the dual carriageway quite a lot of noise depending on where your room was located.Little Chef right next door handy for breakfast. Reasonably priced overall.

A basic room , but clean and tidy.Right besides a dual carriageway. make sure u ask for a room away from the road. Is what you expect for the price you pay . Convenient for Southampton . Little chef next door is average and Lyndhurst offers far more places to eat if you have the time to travel there (5-10... More

We stayed here during half term in May for 2 nights. We had booked a family room but last minute added a double room to the booking for one night. Rooms 108 and 120. They put us in rooms as close as possible and both rooms were excellent. Both rooms massive and at the back of the hotel so road... More

Room was clean and good sized and to be of the standard expected from a travelodge.however room suffered greatly from road noise from the A31 despite the double glazing and additional secondary double glazing best requesting room to rear of hotel.. Disappointing still do not offer free wifi throughout you stay unlike their peers, but 30min access before chargeable, that... More

Isolated in the New Forest but convenient for my meeting. Seems to be popular but not over busy. The attached Litlle Chef is what it is, handy and acceptable. No problem with noise although very close to the road. Don't know what the architect was thinking when he planned the hotel that close to the road!

Staff very helpful. Stayed two nights huge room lovely king size bed. The road outside was VERY busy. But our windows were quadruple glazed so didn't bother us at all. Very pleased. The paint was peeling on the ground floor rooms adjacent to the Travelodge. Might have been little chef but it was the first thing we noticed.

We have been using Travelodge for over 20 years. It has been hard going at times; incredibly cheap but very often lacking basic maintenance and decoration. We have regularly complained about the focus on single travelers - only two pillows, only one chair, very poor lighting apart from the desk and the bedside. The new "makeover" addressed some of this... More

The room was very comfortable but the bathroom was not fully usable for people with my disability, a partial leg amputation. The addition of a bath seat would solve the problem and allow a shower to be taken.

After reading some reviews on here I was worried about getting a room on the road side. Luckily, we were allocated room 10 at the back of the hotel. The room was warm and we opened the window during the night, a little traffic noise could be heard but nothing that actually awoke you. The hotel is situated on the... More
