Le Poussin has moved to Whitely Ridge while the Parkhill residence undergoes a 9 million pound refurbishment. The Food was good but service not great. Spent only 1 night (thankfully) here and would never return. Accomodation was the first huge let down, the furniture appeared way past sell by date, the musty smell on entering the room coupled with the fact that we shared our shower with live mould did not get our stay off to the best start. Theses guests stayed on a saturday night in the new forest the most expensive day in the weekly calander and on a one night basis! They paid £95 per person which broken down is £39.50 for 4 course dinner £10 for breakfast, molten brown bathroom amenites hildon water, coffee and tea making facilities so at a rough estimate it was...
We had a very nice two nights here including dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The hotel and restaurant staff are all very friendly and we were made to feel totally welcome and at home.
