I have never been to such a awful place in my life the food was slow coming out and when it did finally came out things were wrong. we were served by a waitress that had a face like a bag of spanners and a personality to match. I was unable to tell the difference between the four different meats... More

Had the most fantastic carvery lunch at the Mailmans Arms. The meat was cooked very well and so much of it. Very nice to have such a choice of vegetables, wonderful atmosphere also. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this pub.

Central location, quick service but very standard pub grub (not particularly memorable). Sampled the scampi and the sausages, both of which we would try again. Don't expect to be amazed but is perfectly adequate.

I have been here twice for a carvery and each time the food is outstanding!!! It is hot, fresh and a great selection of veg! It is great value for money! You also get a free slice of cake with a hot drink. The staff were very friendly both times. Highly recommend

My family ate here on Sunday 20th October. We all had the carvery which was phenomenal. The choice of meats and vegetables is vast.. I particularly enjoyed the honey roasted parsnips and the green beans with bacon. There were even pigs in blankets (sausage wrapped in bacon) and stuffing balls. The value for money is amazing. It was only £7.95... More

My partner and I decided to eat after we were won over by the look of the front of the pub, beautiful flowers and a fantastic location in the high street. As it was getting late we sat inside, the pub is nice and clean, the bar staff were very friendly and what can I say about the food! For... More

I have been going to this pub for years and It keeps getting better. The bar is great and offers a great variety of drinks and reasonable prices! The food is fantastic and the carvery on a Sunday is a very popular choice with a lot of locals! The couple that run the pub are very friendly and hands on... More
