We stayed here on New Year's Eve and were all (4 adults, 1 child) very disappointed. Bathrooms really needed some work done to bring up to a standard I would expect for the price and in one room the shower didn't even work. The shower that DID work was very very weak and running off the taps. There was also... More

We had a lovely evening at the Casa. Emily, the Receptionist was so friendly and helpful Room was no. 1 which was newly refurbished, was beautifully decorated, maybe on the small side but that did not bother us. Dinner was excellent, staff very attentive Breakfast good the next day also All in all a very nice stay

To be honest, I'm not sure they know! The hotel certainly makes a noise about the connection to Marco Pierre White in the restaurant (see separate review) yet by doing so they ma have taken their eye off the objectives for the hotel. Nice enough from the outside. Yet instantly feels very 1980's when you check in. Staff as helpful... More

Having stayed at the Bath Wheelers/MPW venture we thought we would try this one too. We recieved a welcoming check in and a pleasant, spacious room. The bar/lounge areas are lovely and the fires around the public areas very welcoming, with a particularly helpful and entertaining barman. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - the menu changing enough on the... More

My partner took me away for the evening to stay here. At first i was a little apprehensive due to previous reviews and pictures. We checked in at reception and were greeted by a lovely young lady who was really welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We were given our keys and headed to our room. I cannot begin... More

I recently organised a surprise party for my mother's birthday at the Casa Hotel and only have good things to say. On the same evening, the hotel was also hosting a wedding in their larger function room but this was not apparent in any way as everything ran perfectly. The meals were delicious and the staff incredibly professional and friendly.... More

On arrival we found that our bed frame was broken and the mattress was almost touching the floor. We were moved to another room which had been recently decorated to a very good standard, all looked good on the surface but it seems they have chosen not to replace the ancient, sagging mattress. After a terrible nights sleep I did... More

I stayed with my family on New Years Eve 2014. The bedroom was clean however the mattress was tired and there really wasn't room for the put up bed that was added for our daughter to sleep on. The bathroom was very tatty, peeling paint etc. Overall a pretty poor experience.

Stayed due to local wedding. On arrival the receptionist was rude they take a large deposit on your card In case you charge anything to your room. We paid £180 for 2 nights in an executive room.. What a disappointment! The room was freezing and the heating system didn't work. We complained 3 times and nothing was done, we even... More

Taken me a few weeks to get around to complimenting this hotel on a terrific experience for our first venture out (for a good few years) on New Years Eve - staff were very attentive, food hot and good quality - music was well delivered and the DJ was very competent. Our bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable. We... More
