I stay here quite regularly as good local hotels are few and far between in this neck of the woods. Standard rooms are ok but the ececutive rooms are an excellent choice if you are staying for a couple of days. Restaurant is great and Marco Pierre menu cant be faulted. Breakfast is excellent. One of the few places that... More

Got more than I expected here, not that the place was low priced just seemed to get more than I expected for the deal I booked with. Initially wasn't what I hoped for as I wanted a nice rural and unique hotel but looked like a fairly medium/large sized chain style venue form the outside. Thankfully inside paints a different... The hotel is in a nice and quiet location so was looking forward to a restful night away with the wife. Although the hotel is clean and newly ish decorated the 'artexed' walls and ceilings are a little dated. The restaurant was terrible. Took an hour for the main course to be served due to a table of ten other... More

Staff are really all very nice and professional. First time visit. We arrived and was given our room (did ask for a quiet room). The radiator didn't work and it really needed a refurb. The receptionist moved us straight away to rm 18, much nicer but still needs attention to the paintwork. Bath was really nice and deep and everything... More

Being a regular guest at this hotel I was miffed to find that there was no TV signal at 8.45 pm, having called reception I was told it was due to the weather, not a particularly blustery evening I asked what about the weather was the problem the answer "wet" weather, rain, it begs belief !!!

We held our son's 30th birthday party in the restaurant where we were seated in the Conservatory. This provided us with a virtually private venue. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They coped admirably with a late change in the numbers and helped the party go with a swing. The food was excellent and I didn't hear any complaints... More

This hotel, it exceeded all expectations, couldn't be better. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, having one of my best nights sleep. The breakfast was tasteful with friendly and efficient service. All the staff were polite and efficient. I look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

This is my 2nd stay at The Casa, again on business. Check in was smooth and all of the staff friendly and helpful. My room was clean, although basic. The decor is slightly dated, but it had all I needed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice. We stayed up until the early hours in the... More

This was the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. There was loud scraping and banging from above my room that sounded like a furniture moving party until 1.30am. From 5.30am every movement, toilet flush, alarm clock, phone vibration and banging of other guests could be clearly heard, the worst being the loud sound of running water... More
