2 nights were enough, nearly left after the 1st night. Trying a relaxing break went to bed early but as they'd booked us above the disco spent 21:30 to 00:52 listening to extremely loud music then the rest of the night so wound up didn't sleep at all. Couldn't understand why they put us there and not the disco attendees,... More

I think it says it all in the title of my review really. I honestly don't think i have had a better meal than what i had at the Casa hotel! Apparently there is a top chef who i don't know cooks there sometimes but i never saw the bloke when i stayed but i tell you what with his... More

nice weekend away, room was decent, staff generally ok (funny incident when we booked in, the couple in front of us came charging back to reception and said there was a man in the shower !!! hilarious as the receptionist seemed un-phased and just gave them another room). Restaurant was really busy, we booked for 8.30 and didn't get seated... More

We booked a room at this hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. It looked very nice on the website so we were surprised at how run down it looked when we got there. We had to walk over plastic sheeting in the corridor to get to our room. The room itself was really small. The decor was old... More

The only reason I am leaving this bad review is because I do not take kindly to being deceived. Having booked my room a month in advance and confirming on the morning of arrival we were shown to a perfectly acceptable room, if a little plasticky. We then went down to dinner and were given the menu, on their website... More

We have just returned, with another couple, from a wonderful weekend at this lovely hotel. We had a wonderful deal through Living Social, 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. Our rooms were lovely, modern, beautifully clean. The staff were so very friendly and considerate. Both evenings we ate in the Wheelers Restaurant in the hotel. Our deal included 3 courses... More

I stayed here with colleagues, prior to attending a business meeting. The room was okay. It could do with a little TLC, but was clean and comfortable. The shower was not the most powerful. We ate in the restaurant and stayed up late drinking in the bar, and I have to say that the food was great and the staff... More

We took advantage of a Groupon offer and had Sunday lunch at The Casa. It's a very nice restaurant, well laid out and there was a good ambiance when we ate, it got very busy as the afternoon progressed. Service was very good and attentive, nothing seemed too much for the team there. One of our waiters, from Northern Ireland,... More

Had deal of over night stay and 3 course dinner. Room very good, clean and comfortable. Meal was ruined by being rushed, starters arrived straight away before even sat down, water and rolls for soup forgot, potatoes under cooked. Waiters let it down with bad service. Full English Breakfast in room was cold. Such a shame.

Where to begin... The food was good though I wonder where Marco Pierre White's input came in?? It was pleasant and attractively presented but certainly nothing special. I asked if the scrambled eggs were free range and was sorely disappointed!!! Caged eggs for breakfast in this day and age of the consumer expecting responsibly sourced food??? The receptionist was shockingly... More
