We spent an overnight stay with friends and ate in the restaurant. The bedrooms were very spacious, lovely comfy beds and great american style shower. The meal was also superb with interesting choices and combination of flavours. Overall, an excellent choice for both accommodation and food!

This is a wonderful find. This Inn has a warm and friendly atmosphere with lovely comfortable bedrooms with everything you need. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The cooked English breakfast is a joy to savor for the rest of the day We have stayed on three occasions this year in summer and winter... More

We recently lunched with some old friends in this delightful pub in Stockbridge. Excellent fish platters are to be highly recommended along with a pint of Greyhound. Stockbridge itself enjoys free parking and the village also has some very decent shops and one better than decent art gallery. If you are looking for a genial lunch followed by a gentle... More

Stayed for one night for my husband's birthday. Delicious dinner (although salmon starter portion very small) and good wine list. Breakfast was also good. We stayed in Room 3 in the refurbished cottage next door. Loved the décor; comfortable super king bed (bottom sheet wasn't big enough though and kept untucking itself!); bathroom well equipped. Think it could be hot... More

Stayed in room 7 at the back or the pub , so it was nice and quiet with a superking size bed which was lovely and comfortable with lovely quality bedding. Plenty of tea and coffee and water . Bathroom a bit of a squeeze but with a walk in shower and a bath it was fine. I liked the... More

APPALLING RIP OFF and SERVICE. When we arrived at 12.45 for lunch we were told that there were no free tables available because everything was booked. However, we were offered 2 seats at the bar or an alcove with 2 small stools and a minute table - and I mean minute!. We opted for the alcove as we believed this... More

It's a shame because its a great location that could be very good. The food wasn't good, I had the Burger that was cold, tasteless and expensive. £15.95 for a burger is ridiculous, especially if they come with uncooked chips. We asked for some mayonnaise and they said they have run out. What pub ever runs out of a simple... More

Had a great stay at the Greyhound. Not the first time we've stayed, and certainly not the last. The place has a really warm and friendly atmosphere, nothing is a problem. We had booked dinner for eight of us and it was first class. The rooms were cosy with a contemporary, country feel. Breakfast was a treat of locally sourced... More

The food was cold I could hear the chefs arguing in the kitchen the portions are small I definitely would not come here again. The wine was not to standard the staff were talking and not paying attention. Some staff not well trained dropped food kept waiting for drinks and served wrong food not a good experience.
