I've been to this charming pub on several occasions; mainly for Sunday Lunch. We've always had a good meal and particularly enjoyed sitting on the charming terrace. Our dogs are always made welcome. If there is venison on the menu I strongly recommend you try it.

The young chap I was greeted by on reception was very efficient & helpful even carrying my bag up to the room for me. The pub had a fantastic feel around it with lovely beamed ceilings but DO BE WARNED they are rather low! (Altho this does make for good entertainment) I was in put in room 7, upon entering... More

Yet again, another great meal. So, probably after my tenth visit in half as many years, I've finally got around to writing my appreciation. On each and every occasion the food has been marvelous, the staff friendly and the service polite, efficient and timely.

The stale bread that accompanied our hugely expensive vegetarian 'picnic' option was so poor. it consisted of three tiny slices of white bread cut into half to make it look more. Such a simple thing to get right.

Stayed one night on a work trip. Room was well appointed and had nice little extra touches such as a hot water bottle, although it wasn't needed as the room was never cold. Room size was compact but perfectly adequate for my needs. Lots of charm and character. Slightly noisy from below but I am a light sleeper. Good breakfast.... More

Such a shame to have to write a negative review as the rest of the food was very nice but the bread roll my husband's burger came in was very hard and definitely stale. The service was perfectly pleasant but it might have been better to ask if any ketchup etc is required rather than the customer hanging to request... More

My partner booked a one night stay for us at the Three Cups Inn, and we were immediately impressed. The staff were welcoming and showed us to our room on the first floor (room 1). The room was of good size and well appointed. The bathroom was great and surprise surprise - old fashioned bath salts which delighted my partner.We... More

Our main course took an hour to arrive and was mediocre, so much so some of us left our food. The fondant desserts, after a request of when we would get them after waiting another hour came back as over cooked sponges and once again some of us left them. We pointed out how disappointing we were with the deserts... More
