We had a busy weekend in Somerset and Devon before heading back to Hampshire. We rounded it off with a visit to the Three Cups. Food and service were very good and very quick especially as we did not book for a Sunday night

Arrived early at the Three Cups Inn...but no problem to park the car in the car park at the rear... Checked in later and after a warm and convivial welcome was actually shown to my room with an offer of help with my bags by Labibe...which is already something you don't always get... The room was "compact"...but VERY QUAINT and... More

We were a party of 8 that booked a table for 7.15 on a Thursday evening. By 8.15 our food had still not arrived and members of our party were "making noises". However, when the food did eventually arrived all agreed that it was very good despite it being presented on cold plates with the exception of the steak and... More

They were decent and took back the mussels with haddock which had been described on the menu as seafood and haddock. Mussels don't agree with everyone and seafood on a menu doesn't conjure up an image of mussels. The cheese baguette was poor value and extremely boring. I have to admit that such a thing as an interesting cheese sandwich... More

From the exterior the restaurant looked inviting, the menu read very well and we looked forward to a pleasant and relaxed evening to celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary with friends. We had a table for 4. Quite simply, over priced food, poor presentation, meals not cooked as requested and miserable staff, especially one lady who I think was recovering from... More

Went to The Three Cups Inn for lunch with family and was pleasantly surprised when we entered. It has a very cosy and personable feel when you enter. Parking was a bit of a nightmare and the car park behind (as such) only has space for around 6 cars realistically, without being blocked in. We tried to get into the... More

Myself & friends were recommended this village pub for a cosy lunch in the beautiful beer garden. The setting was lovely, The lack of choice on the lunch menu was to say the least very disappointing The food was just ok (nothing special) The staff were miserable The service was very very slow I don't think I will be recommending... A colleague recommended me to the Three Cups as she had stayed there on business. My partner and I went for a post-work drink in the delightful garden and have to say were were both impressed with what lay behind the front door - Very deceiving! The cosy bar leads through to a gorgeous conservatory area which in turn leads... More

Stumbled on this place as the regular Hotel I usually stay at was booked up and so pleased it was otherwise wouldn't have found this lovely inn. The photo's and reviews were good and so was the price, so thought I'd give it a go, don't normally go for this kind of accommodation but this had really made me think... More
