Beautiful old building right in the middle of Romsey. Rooms and decor throughout are very nice. Free WiFi if a little patchy and LAN internet with ethernet cable provided. However at the price they are charging there are a few things missing. I went in the summer, it was hot and the room was too warm with no AC and... More

Second visit to this place for dinner and again it was a delight. Just the relaxing atmosphere my wife and I were looking for after a busy working week! The waiting service was excellent and very attentive. All were very polite and considerate to our needs. A 3 course set dinner at £17.50 is an absolute bargain for the quality... More

My wife and I stayed just the one night in the penthouse suite. It was a spacious room with a large bed (although a little softer than I'm used to) and 'lounge area' with chairs and large flat screen TV. The bathroom was again spacious with a deep bath (which we unfortunately didn't use!) and a 2 person shower with... More

Had an absolutely fantastic afternoon tea here yesterday. From the minute of arrival, the waiters were extremely attentive and made you feel really welcome. The tea itself was served almost immediately and was of superb quality. The selection of cakes was fantastic and anything you cant eat is bagged up to take home. Really recommend this place, a thoroughly enjoyable... More

I have stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions and overall I would say this is a very good quality B&B. The building has a lot of history and is very central within Romsey (parking is not provided but there are plenty of local car parks that are no-more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel). The staff... More

We stayed here following our wedding at the Romsey registry office. There were 8 of us in the group and we spent the afternoon after our wedding, had an evening meal and stayed the night in the hotel. The staff were brilliant, really attentive and accommodating, the food was lovely - we had lunch and afternoon tea in the bar... More

We required a hotel near Paultons Park as we had decided to go at the "last minute". Four adults and one child booked the White Horse at Romsey and we were delighted when we arrived to find such a treasure. The Hotel is on several levels as one would expect of an old coaching Inn and the property has been... More

We spent valentines weekend here and it was lovely. The food was great, especially the afternoon tea. The penthouse room is fabulous. The menu is interesting and the food presentation good. The staff are very helpful and attentive.
