I stayed in the cottages at high field house, which were lovely. Very peaceful hotel, very clean great staff. The menu had a lot of choice and what I did eat was very nice. All in all a great hotel and experience, highly recommended.

Our daughter was getting married in nearby Whiteparish. We used this as our base and it was absolutely perfect. Masses of space, all the comforts of home and very comfortable. We were able to provide rooms for hairdressers etc. on the day. The fireman's pole, cargo net and zip wire kept the chaps out of trouble. The gardens were lovely... More

Excellent self contained b and b annex in beautiful grounds. Bedroom, kitchenette, shower room and upstairs to a sitting room. Amazing cooked breakfast delivered to us to have in bed in the morning! The owners are delightful. Highly recommend.

Poppy and Ken are extrememely friendly and accomdation from the tea and cake on arrival to the lift to the wedding venue when we couldn't get a cab! The rooms are... More

Everything you needed was on hand to make you feel at home, from books to read to a pumice stone in the bathroom. The grounds were delightful and I wish we'd had more time to explore, but we did have time to make friends with Ralphie the adorable dog! It was very peaceful and I have never slept in such... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and although the price was high for B+B it really is the bees knees. Quiet, peaceful grounds with swing and treehouse for the kids and coffee and cakes regularly supplied. The most friendly hosts you could ask for, nothing was too much trouble. Cooked breakfast was ginormous plus loads of fresh fruit... More

We stayed here with our 2 year old daughter as we wanted to visit Peppa Pig World at the nearby Paulton's Park. We prefer smaller B and B's to large hotels and certainly were not disappointed with our choice. On arrival we were greeted with tea and cakes and a large box of toys with which our little girl was... More

As mentioned by previous reviewers Highfield House B&B is set in 7 acres of gardens and woodland. It is in a quiet lane off the main roads but only a few hundred yards from Dunwood Manor Golf Course. The very friendly welcome with tea and cakes relaxed us nicely after our drive. The house is spotless throughout and there was... More

From the moment we were greeted until we left the service and ambience were great. My wife and I were on a protein diet so the fabulous cakes offered with tea on arrival were politely declined. This could have been an awkward moment declining hospitality but just resulted in an enquiry about what we wanted for breakfast. The room was... More

What a wonderful place to stay, stayed here for 2 nights in July 2008. The hotel is set in a peacefull location with 7 acres of woodlands. The new forest, towns of winchester and salisbury are within easy reach by car and the lovely town of Romsey is only 10 minutes away. The rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast... More
