We have stayed in many very fine 5 star hotels in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, and we keep coming back to Chewton Glen because we feel it's probably the finest hotel we've ever stayed in. This time, for our 30th wedding anniversary, we chose one of the Treetop suites. Stunning. Very nice breakfast delivered by hamper though... More

My son had arranged afternoon tea here as a surprise Mother's day gift and it was a truly wonderful experience. The dining room was beautifully set out and each table had a gift plant for each mum. You helped yourself to a scrumptious buffet of assorted sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones with jam and cream and cakes to die for. There... More

This is the second time my wife has celebrated her birthday at Chewton Glen and Ashley and the team did not disappoint. Upgraded to a Coach House suite, we wanted for nothing. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Smith, there was even champagne and fresh fruit waiting in the room. Great food, excellent service and wonderfully relaxing surroundings - what more... More

My daughter and son in law chose Chewton Glen as their wedding venue and I'm finding it hard to find any fault. The venue, staff, food, and service were all fantastic making the day so memorable for all our guests. Dahlia Chewton Glen's wedding co-ordinator was professional, approachable & warm. Adam and his team in the lake suite looked after... More

Room was extremely large, airy and comfortably furnished. Wall to wall widows with lovely views over lawns and woods, his and hers wardrobes, dressing room and huge bathroom completed the suite. We took full advantage of the pool and hydrotherapy spa, beautiful amply sized robes and thick white towels in abundance. The bar area was pleasant and staff warm and... More

We stayed 2 nights in a studio treehouse. The treehouse was lovely, and had an enormous deck with wonderful hot tub. The bathroom was pretty amazing and the room overall lived upto our expectations. We were overlooked by only one other deck, so it did feel quite private and was certainly very quiet. We were however shocked to find a... More

We spent 3 nights in a Treehouse loft suite, along with our 1 year old baby. The treehouse itself is lovely with all the little touches you can think of. The views from the treehouses are mediocre - a small patch of woodland, and our treehouse was on the end by the car park, which could see clearly onto our... More

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the hotel, with a 7 course complimentary tasting menu (which actually said 6 course on the menu). We had lunched here last October and really wanted to go back and spend more time there and stay. Wish we had booked 2 nights now as didn't want to leave!! The beds and... More

I attended a large celebratory party of older-than-average people, expecting high quality food and service, considering the prices. The service could not be faulted - it was second to none, and every little move was immediately responded to by the staff. But the food, sadly, failed to match it. It was good, certainly, but not of a quality to match... More

This was a special weekend celebration for a family of 10 - age 3 and 6, teenagers, parents and grandparents. What agreat job the staff do in making all ages welcome - all requests being dealt with a smile and a can-do approach. A great selection of rooms to suit families (duplex) as well as couples, including treehouses. Situated in... More
