This is definitely the cheapest place around. It's rather in the middle of nowhere but at least some takeaways will deliver from Liphook. The room certainly has a pretty musty smell to it - possibly because so many takeaways are eaten in it. Otherwise the bed and bathroom are clean. There's free WiFi but there was no chair to sit... A group of friends booked 4 rooms at this hotel on a Saturday night. We were filled with dread when we read the write ups, but as it goes its not as bad as the reviews I had read, hence why I decided to do my own review. Yes the rooms are basic, but we found them clean and tidy,... More

Had to travel to Liphook and did not want to drive there and back same day so stayed here for the night. Have stayed at other hotels in the area over the last 12 months which are really over expensive. This is a genuine value for money place to sleep. A little worn in areas but simply put, you get... Cheap and miserable. Probably the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Entire building and room shows no signs of regular or professional cleaning. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned, bedroom filthy and had grim aroma. Complained to receptionist: they said they'd 'write and angry letter to the cleaner'… yeah right, what cleaner? Didn't want to take my shoes off! Hot water non-existent.... More

Room 2 ground floor. Smelled damp. Reminded me very much of a Travelodge I stayed in 20 years ago, which was scruffy even then. On the good side, beds clean towels good en suite passable. Reception very obliging. Plenty of extra milk and tea bags if requested. 2 bouncer like men on the entrance ?? Food available at the Starbucks... More

It seems that st a budget price you forgo the chance to shower or bathe in hot ( or even warm) water. Not sure who did the plumbing here but he was clearly deluded thinking it was satisfactory for this size motel. Free WIFI is non existant. Rooms are very very shabby, dirty bathrooms. I found the last occupants body... More

Well, reading other reviews this ought to have been awful. It wasnt! O.k. there was a damp smell but this soon went when we put the heater on. The microwave & fridge were useful but the TV was not the promised large flat screen and had limited channels. For £40 per night it was comfortable and it would seem rooms... More

I stayed in a room on the upper floor which was clean and of a good size. Comfortable beds and pillows. Had tea and coffee , fridge and microwave. not to much noise from nearby A3 road. Its at the Liphook services so you can get something to eat (sandwich/pastry)from the shell petrol station, as no restaurant on site. Cannot... More

Possibly the worst place I have stayed in. The room smelled of damp, as did our luggage & clothing after being in the room. The sink was cracked in the bathroom, with stains on the bathroom floor & the mattress was possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The Reception staff were more interested in smoking outside, than... More

This is the most disgusting hotel/motel we have ever stayed at. It is dirty and stinking. Somebody asked us how much we paid for the night,we told them, and they said "You get what you pay for " That is not true, all I ask is a clean room and a clean comfy bed, I dont need a 50" tea... More
