I arrived at 9:20am and handed over my booking reference and name. The receptionist couldn't find my booking however did confirm it had been paid for. An hour later the receptionist found me a room to stay after confirming I had a paid but there wasn't a booking. The room is literally just a bed with a tv. However there's... More

If it is at all possible, never , ever stay here. Damp, smelly room (left heat on full, beds to air and window open for 4 hours while we were out to dinner which was an improvement), our belongings smelled of the room on returning home. Cobwebs on the ceiling... room otherwise clean. No excuses for feeble and wrong choice... More

Stayed one night as visiting friends in the area, plus going to Legoland the day after. The room had enough space for the 4 of us, nice and clean, tidy room. The staff were very welcoming, and nothing was a problem. Beds were comfy, slept well, no noise despite bring opposite train line! Great it was next door to the... More

We stopped over for one night last weekend. The place was absolutely filthy. Our bath was filled with old water and bits of plaster. The chair was covered in crumbs and hair from the people before. The skirting boards were almost entirely black with dirt. Upon complaining about it the management seemingly couldn't care less and were of no help... More

A two night business stop over. On arrival the receptionist was enthusiastic and welcoming. Room was to the standard expected - good size double bed, en-suite bathroom, flat screen tv etc although it was missing an armchair which can come in handy if you don't want to sit on the bed all the time. The general fabric of the building... More

Hotel stank of bleach - like walking into a poorly run nursing home. Skirting boards everywhere caked in dust. Swiped 60cm length with a tissue & it was black! Also stayed in Travelodge earlier in week (Redhill) and was much the same.

I had booked 6 nights for my elderly dad, registered blind and 90 years old. Unable to stay with me because he cant do stairs. Booked and paid for in advance. First night - he was given another room - not disabled - because of a "maintenance problem. Will be available in the morning". In the morning, he can't move... More

The staff here are great but the room itself lacked some facilities-only one chair-no remote control for TV -no toilet roll Most rectified by staff -had requested ground floor room-were allocated a first floor room On the whole though a good hotel and would stay again
