We were the other side of the hotel from the frequent trains. Nice to be next to a pub and garage where we could get papers etc. It would be helpful if the no 9 bus was mentioned . Bus stop through a path in the hedge at far corner of Travelodge.

I was one of a group of four who booked two Family Rooms for two nights at the Travel Lodge, several months ago. We arrived on 22nd July to be told that there were no family rooms available due to refurbishment. It seemed unbelievable that they had taken our booking and had no twin bedded rooms available for us, We... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night on the 18th July, we had a lovely night, it served its purpose of a place to stay, there was building and renovating works taking place but we would never of known that if it weren't for the scaffolding, there was no issue with noise whatsoever from anything. It was clean... More

FANTASTIC - If you have never stayed in a Travelodge then I urge you to. Travelodge is very convenient if you need to stay over for a weekend or even a night. You can find cheap rooms easily and most are located near or within town centers. You can expect friendly and warm service from staff 24/7 and some even... More

Hotel staff should have informed me about new paint in the room which caused severe headache and not able to sleep. Informed the same to reception staff and they acknowledged but provided no alternative. -Gopal

We haven't stayed in a Travelodge for a few years following a bad experience but decided to give it ago following a recent advertising campaign. We were not disappointed. The bed was comfy and we were quite pleasantly surprised. There is a Harvester next door where you could go for breakfast like we did and although it is right next... More

Royal Ascot races were on and this was the only hotel available, and I can now see why it was avoided by everyone. It is a very tired hotel, a busy railway line runs right along the side of it. There was no air conditioning, so having the window open all night when there are loud trains going back isnt... More

Large room, decor a bit dated, bed was comfy, no proper food on site but Harvester pub next door. Noisy in summer as it is right next to railway line but the windows are double so would be quieter if you had them shut but there is no AC. Supplied soap could be better as the water is harder than... More
