A Dinner Experience 2 night stay at Holiday Inn Farnborough. An older building set slightly off the main road surrounded by numerous trees and palms. The hotel looks inviting on the outside. The first thing that hits you when the automatic doors open is the predominantly Lily aroma that hits you squarely in the face. The receptionist says it is... more

we travelled with national holidays as part of a weekend coach trip. on arrival to the hotl the reception staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. the foyer was spacious ( none of the usual getting in peoples way as you wait to be checked in) and the service was fast and efficient. we were directed to our room which... more

I had to book at short notice and didn't stay long enough to judge properly but don't expect priority club recognition here and when they say the room might be smoky trust me they mean it. I've eaten salmon less well smoked than my clothes were when I emerged after a couple of hours and with a full hotel they... more

Holiday Inns can usually be trusted to give you a half-decent level of comfort and cleanliness. Not this one. We checked in and were sent off to find our room - we really should have brought some thread with us if we wanted to find our way back to Reception in a hurry! Into the room and although in the... more

Stayed here for second time to attend Grim Challenge. Hotel even better than last year, been refurbished, we had lovely rooms. Reception staff very good, allowed us a late checkout on Sunday so guys could take showers after the race. Bar staff very friendly, as were the restaurant staff. Bar & restaurant beautifully decorated, Breakfast was superb, although food could... more

Arrived here on a Friday afternoon. Got a special deal direct with Holiday inn £49 B&B. Plenty of Parking in the carpark, and a very welcoming smile from 2 receptionists. My room wasn't ready, but was told it would only be 10 minutes (it was in fact 30 minutes, but the lounge next to the reception is very comfortable, so... more

I arrived on a Monday, which is obviously the hotels bussiest night for check-in, although while I was waiting the staff on reception acknowleged me and said they would be with me shortly. When I got to the desk, the chap who checked me in was more than courteous, reffering to me by my surname which was incredubly personal and... more

The Hotel was ok, according to British standards. I only had to stay one night so i could manage with the poor quality. But being woken at 7am by construction work is not ok. Stay away! more

The entire staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. They were so nice it's hard to say negative things about this hotel. But, the price paid is just astronomical for the room provided. They charge Four Seasons (US) prices for rooms that probably couldn't be legally rented in the US. (Fire code, etc..) Perfectly clean and reasonable. But like... more
