I frequently stay at the Aviator on business and leisure. The staff are always welcoming and frequently remember regular guests names. The service and facilities are outstanding with dining facilities that add to the luxury of this hotel. I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area including the Four Seasons and I have always come back to... More

The Aviator looks good as soon as you enter the building. It doesn't have that roadside appeal, but once inside it is rather nice. Dark, but a nice ambience. The reception is on the first floor, lifts available or nice porter to help you with your bag. The position of the hotel is great if you like planes as it... More

I stayed at the Village many times prior to switching to the Aviator. The Aviator is everything the Village wants to be. Meaning that the Village pretends to be upscale, but the Aviator actually is. It's quiet, classy, and is nicely decorated. The bed is a bit firm, but better than any I have found in town. The pillows are... More

We booked afternoon tea at 3pm as they accepted booking from 3pm, but arrived a bit early around 14:30. The table was ready!! We were able to sit straight away and they started serve tea :) The cakes, scones, and sandwiches were so tasty. Especially, cakes were amazing. Very detailed, taste and looks both beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Please look at... More

Highly disappointed. No assistance with luggage. No real glasses in room for a drink. Evening meal dire with an empty restaurant and no one to offer assistance. I ordered food at the bar. The Camembert starter was barely warm. The steak itself was ok but the vegetables tasted of fish. The alleged utility room was crammed full with folded beds... More

Having stayed here at least a dozen times, reception staff always ask me if I have stayed before... Not the type of welcome expected from a hotel that pitches to the business/ 'higher end' of the market. Rooms are comfortable and clean, if a bit small, and the signal on the TV is poor(again, not what one would expect from... More

I returned to The Aviator with my partner, after an absence of a few years, and it lived up to my fantastic memories: My 30th birthday cocktail party a few years ago was great, a couple of stays in a couple of different sized rooms were super, meals (casual and a bit more formal) were all faultless, and the Sky... This is a lovely hotel - rooms are stylish and comfortable, the airport views are enjoyable and there is a nice atmosphere to the hotel. The shower pressure in the bathrooms is one of the best I've ever had and the REN toiletries are a nice luxury. Lounge music is played in the public areas throughout the day which is... More
