I stayed here for two weekend nights with a group of old friends (‘boys’ only). Located close to a busy, major roundabout, the hotel is conveniently situated as it is only 10 minute walk to Fareham town centre and has easy motorway access. It proved satisfactory for our purposes; although I must be honest and say that I would not... More

Stayed here in December 2014 in room 22 which was poorly decorated, this room is built in the attic of the building and very cold, I asked why the heating was not on and was told 'it doesn't come on until after 7pm' . Not good enough.

I stayed here in November with my two sisters and 1 yr old niece. We all stayed in room 8 (1 dbl & 1 Sgl). The room is an ok size for 3 with wardrobe space for bags etc. The bathroom is fairly small but serviceable with a bath and shower. The room is quite plainly decorated and could maybe... More

We stayed here before heading to the ferry to Spain. We had our dog and baby with us. The check in was easy and we had a very nice young guy help us (bless him he as the only one on and he was doing everything) it was clean and a standard room (can't complain for the price) breakfast was... More

Stayed hear for 2 nights with my family of 5 adults and 1 dog.. Room nice with plenty of space.. Only downside was the dirty dated bathroom which needs desperately updating.. Although didn't spoil my stay as the staff, service, and food more than make up for it....great breakfast too.. Good value rooms with no charge for the dog.. Cheap... More

I've stayed here twice simply because I was visiting a friend and it was close! From looking at images it looked pleasant so had high hopes when I arrived, I was shown to my room where the door did not lock properly unless someone was in the room therefore I had to take all valuables with me if left the... Lovely building, booked very last minute and welcomed nicely. Bar was buzzing as there was a wedding on. Rooms very simple but great for the price for last minute Saturday night Would definitely stay again as we really liked the place as a simple budget hotel. Also great location for Gunwharf Keys and new forest

Stayed here one night early Sept 14. Checked in, room seemed pretty shabby, but 'OK'. Rather than trudge into town to eat, we ate in the restaurant and the food was actually good pub grub, good portions and tasty, and cheerfully and quickly served. Stairway was lethal - carpet had been removed, leaving underlay with many trip hazards, new carpet... More

We held our wedding reception at the Roundabout Hotel. The booking of the reception was easy and the staff met all our requirements. The hotel was very keenly priced compared to similar venues, but gave us great service in a really nice location. The hotel is quite old but has bags of character with old exposed beams etc. We had... More

We stayed here for two nights to attend a friends wedding. The reception was held in the restaurant. A really tricky place to review. The hotel is in dire need of a refurb but it's clean, has comfy beds and for £70 a night, is quite good value. The bar area is a bit like a rough local pub... The... More
