We met friends for lunch. My warm chicken and chorizo salad highly ordinary and not bigs. Husbands ham egg and chips ok. But it cost far too much for simple food in very pub by surround? Menu quite small, starters around £7 each. May be better in the evening, but would not rush back? No table cloths, thin paper serviettes,... More

We visited for Mother's Day and could not have made a better choice. We have visited before and always found Andrea a charming host. The food was excellent, cooked nicely so that Granny could enjoy it and not overcooked or served 'pink' as so many lesser establishments seem to want to do these days. There was a good vegetarian choice... More

If you are in the area you will be very happy with the food and service, though It's not special enough to merit being a 'destination' gastro pub. Circa 1m from the national trust mottisfont property and immediately across the road from the railway station this pub is ideally located for a better place to eat than the limited choice... More

Lovely meal shared by 3 generations of my family with something on the menu to appeal to all of us. The food arrived swiftly despite the pub being full of Mother's Day diners. Great service by all the staff. Thanks Mill Arms for making it a Mother's Day to remember.

Last night we enjoyed a wonderful meal at this pub, they have just introduced a new menu and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They are catering for both the 'foodies' who enjoy good quality, locally sourced food which is beautifully presented and delicious! There is a great wine list and a landlord who will happily assist you in... More

My husband stayed here the night before our recent wedding, and we were so taken with the Mill Arms when we went to book that we also booked in for their theatre night, which took place a few days before our wedding. This was a lovely night; for £30 we got a two course dinner followed by a theatre production... More

I recently stayed at the mill arms on business while i attended a course at the venue. Apon arrival the staff were very welcoming and informative. They were only too happy to help with any request. The room was spacious and clean, with a really comfortable bed. The free wifi connection was strong and fast in my room which i... More

Our friends had their wedding reception here and we stayed overnight in the 4 poster room. A lovely relaxed informal wedding reception where nothing was too much trouble. Our 2 children aged 2 and 5 were welcomed and called by name. They slept brilliantly on the sofa bed as did we in the 4 poster. Bathroom sparkly clean and great... More

We stayed two nights and found it very comfortable. Some lovely little touches such as home made cookies. The room was very clean and bright. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented and personal service. A picture of english ruralness with a touch of industrialisation with the quaint railway station opposite. We loved it and hope to stay again

Our one night stay happened to fall on the day after a bank holiday and whilst this was deemed a day off for the staff, the owner went out of her way to ensure all our needs and desires were catered for. It was a Birthday treat for me, and contrary to some of the reviews here, nothing was too... More
