Had one night at Esseborne Manor on our way down into Devon. Fantastic room with four poster bed and jacuzzi bath, amazing meal, but big problem we were one of only two couples staying in the hotel. Absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever! Just a bit of background music would have helped. Would recommend for a very, very quiet stay! more

I got a large room which was beautifully furnished and had a large bath. There is freeview on the tv, free wi-fi, comfortable bed/pillows, and stunning views of well kept gardens. Breakfast was top-class - I had haddock with a poached egg. I'd love to stay again depending on whether my allowance will stretch to it more

Wow wow wow! We had the best wedding at Esseborne and were so looked after by the great staff. The Manor is beautiful and the bridal suite- incredible- what luxury. Just wish we had stayed there more than one night! Delicious food. Cannot recommend it enough!! more

We stayed at Esseborne for 2 nights in late September, booking two ground-floor rooms. Both rooms were very spacious, were stylishly furnished and were easily warm enough. Great little hotel about 7 miles from the centre of Andover. Recommend the Menu du Vin - four (optional courses) accompanied by a different wine - great value & food was excellent.
