The new owners have only had access to the business for three weeks, but boy oh boy they've been busy! There are plans to gradually upgrade the facilities, but what is there now has been scrubbed and mended to within an inch of its life. We were a party of four very picky and hygiene-obsessed sisters/mum who stayed for two... More

First of all, totally overpriced! dirty - had to shut my eyes when going for a shower to not see the grime. Horribly old fashioned and gross to say the least! £100 a night if my daughter wanted to stay extra! Got out of there ASAP and went to The Barn in Monkwood where weve stayed - beautiful, big, CLEAN,... More

Extremely basic, room 2 was bearable yet dusty with array of cobwebs. Old TV cable laying under TV unit with spare parts on window ledge!! Claim of wifi in all rooms is untrue. If there was wifi it wasn't available when we were there. Breakfast okay but table could have been cleaned in the grooves. Bridget was lovely, good luck... More

We only stayed for one night, but wish we could've stayed for longer! A homely place where we felt at home and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. Our room came with a TV, kettle, microwave and a fridge. Bathroom was not ensuite, but we didn't have to... More

The odour of smoke as we opened the front door was overpowering as we are both non smokers. As soon as we were in our upstairs bedroom we opened the windows for fresh air. After a while we noticed that smoke was coming in from downstairs which we found was caused by the owners who had their French doors wide... More

This B&B is set in a beautiful village with many nearby attractions. It is quaint and comfortable, especially for those who have/like pets. The hosts are the most accommodating and always ready to help out, whatever the request!

As stated in Title luxury accommodation it isn't but comfortable, clean and very pleasant it definitely is. Nice view from the room over the garden and adjoining farm land. The room was really well equipped with a mini kitchen crockery and cutlery as well as tea making facilities. The bed was two singles pushed together but comfortable. Breakfast was very... More
