We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The location is fabulous, close to the metro stop and bus stops and a huge Morrisons right opposite. We had two rooms both of which were clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from, fresh food and the seating area is very modern and clean. Of an evening the bar... Although more expensive than on our last visit in May 2013, this is excellent value and convenient as near to where our son lives and works, and with the great bonus of Morrisons supermarket just opposite. Any request for more tea bags or towels was met with rapidly. Can't be beaten for quality/cost...though I might not want to stay there... More

Arrived in plenty of time, the Duty Manager noticed we werent being seen to, so poilety saw to us, very friendly and attentive towards us, we asked for a fan and she couldnt find one at the time so we said we come back down, We popped out as we were going to see Judge Rinder being filmed so we... The hotel is simple and user-friendly, no issue with that. The room and bathroom was clean, but relatively plain. No issue with that. The parking is a bit strange in the Morrison's car park, but for the money paid for the room we could live with that. What was a disappointment was every strong gust of wind blew the window... More

Not too much to say as it's a travelodge... This is one of the refurbished ones so it's clean and tidy, the bed is comfy and it's well worth the price. Only a few minutes walk from the Lowry and the Salford quays tram stop which is £3 return to the city centre. Parking available in the Morrisons car park... More

Traveled through the night with my teenage son to see a match in Manchester. Picked the Travelodge for price and location. We had booked and paid for an early check in but we were very, very early. We got to the hotel at 9am exhausted and really hoping and praying for something to sleep on. We were greated by Isobel... More

Stayed for one night with my two teenage daughters, as we arrived quite late, around midnight, was pleased to find a clean, spacious room with a double bed and two singles. The staff were professional and friendly throughout our stay and all areas of the hotel were spotless. Loved the big bathroom with shower and bath, again very clean and... More

We've stayed here on several occasions and find it modern, clean and great value for money. The staff have always been helpful and polite and the situation is great for visiting Old Trafford, Salford Quays or Manchester center. The metro tram stops just down the road and is a great and inexpensive way to get around Manchester and the surrounding... More

An annual Autumn stay appears to be becoming a regular recurrence. Pleased therefore to report rooms remain at a high standard of cleanliness & comfort, with a supportive mattress & the usual Travelodge features. On the plus side, in the shower room, both soap & shampoo/shower-gel are available from dispensers - that Eureka moment! Apart from all the action on... More
