I had a pleasant enough stay here for one night. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was a really cold night and I the heating in the room was excellent - I didn't want to leave! The room does look slightly tired, there were a few scuffs on the wall, and around the edges you... The hotel looks nice and is very well presented. Conveniently located next to a tram stop which came very handy. Staff were very nice but didn't explain anything when we came. Nothing about check out, breakfast etc. it was probably the quickest check in during our trip. The rooms were lovely and a very good size. There's a nice view... More

First time visiting the Copthorne in Manchester. A 1 day conference. Took advantage of arriving early and went for breakfast which was a good selection and well cooked. Conference facilities are a little tired and could be refurbished. Good tea/ coffee at the breaks. However, the buffet lunch was very disappointing. A complete carb overload, especially the doorstep sandwiches with... More

We were very pleasantly surprised its in quite an industrial looking area. Over looks the quays at the back which is a nice feature although so much rubbish in the water and on the streets. Not great but the hotel room, restaurant and bar areas were lovely. The staff were amazing very friendly and professional. Defo recommend x

We stayed for one night when visiting Manchester to see a show. The hotel is typical of the Copthorne brand, clean and spacious rooms but just a little dated. We booked a prepaid rate which represented very good value and when we checked in they offered us 2 for 1 on the buffet breakfast which again represented great value. It's... More

I visited this hotel in February 2015 for a joint 50th and 70th birthday party. I previously emailed to ask for a complimentary upgrade due to the special nature of the visit, however, I didn't get a reply to my email. Therefore, It was clear that complimentary upgrades are not given. When we arrived we couldn't check in until 2,... More

Had tickets to see Phoenix Nights at the Arena, so location was great as across the road from a tram stop that the Receptionist kindly told us about, gave us a map, and plenty of information. Had a meal and drink in the Clippers Bar, clean and tidy and nice food. Club Room booked, good size, nice view, as overlooked... More

We stayed here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary, which was also Valentines weekend. The location was great, the car parking free, the staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful, check in was quick. They also sorted out our breakfast issue. The hotel room was fine, and we had a lovely view of the docks.
