It a nice old clean hotel. More character than these modern ones. 5 min walk to train & trams. Which take you into Manchester centre or Salford Quay (Old Trafford). Very convenient for Hope Hospital if you need to stay close by. Plenty of shops near by, Staff very helpful, Price reflects..

Ok it's not 5 star but the rate reflects that. I found the staff friendly and helpful, yea the decor is a little tired but if you get over that fact it's quite comfortable. My bathroom was modern and really clean. Ok the water pressure could have been a bit better but it worked out ok in the end. Hotel... More

not good, not too bad. Don't expect too much since it's a two-star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was quite cold, and the radiator was just lukewarm. Luckily, an extra radiator was given on request. But the bathroom was always cold. There were windows in both the bedroom's and the bathroom's walls but all locked. Thus the... More

Upon arrival we were met by a lovely gentleman who was helpful. Once in our room we were disappointed. A bath with no taps but a shower overhead. The kettle was dirty inside. The bed was very squeaky every time you moved resulting in a very uncomfortable 2 nights stay with hardly any sleep. The breakfast...we opted for the full... More

The hotel is fine, quite far from the noisy Manchester. The rooms are clean and enough big. Very good breakfast! However, it is quite difficult to have hot water in the shower: there is a guide to follow for that! Also, the heater is switched off during the night and then the rooms are quite cold.

Yes the hotel is tired and basic but it fitted the bill for me, the breakfast was very good and the staff very pleasant, for the price you pay it is an excellent choice. i only needed a single room and it was overlooking the main road but that did not detract from it"s comfort. The rooms were very clean.

Nice place to stay. Staff very helpful. Hotel a bit tired looking but clean and the breakfast was good. Always hot water, clean towels and free wifi. Free parking also. Would definitely stay there again. Great price for what you get compared to other bed and breakfasts in the area.

Hotel is a great base for the nearby hospital, Trafford Centre and Manchester city centre. Room was very clean with fresh towels daily. Breakfast was great and hotel staff very friendly. Nasser, the owner is a very nice man and made you feel very welcome.Couldn't ask for more for the price.

This hotel is very dated. Although clean the furniture is anything but modern. The plumbing rattles when you switch on the taps and we had no hot water for a shower when arrived after a long journey..although hot water was available in the morning. ..Granted, we paid £50 for a twin room but this looks the equivalent if a hostel...
