An overnight stay at the Malt House was most enjoyable. The room had all that we needed and was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. We could not fault the friendly staff and delicious evening meal and tasty English breakfast. We would definitely stay here again and can thoroughly recommend it.

Visited the Malthouse for an overnight stay and was very pleasantly surprised. The first thing that hit me was the cleanliness - very clean and very fresh smelling. The bedroom was large, sunny and very comfortable with a matching large en suite. Wendy, the owner, was very friendly and pleasant and Zac the waiter also gets top marks for his... More

Stayed for one night with two friends as we going to a wedding at Berkeley Castle. It was a perfect place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. We did drive to the wedding venue but left our car there overnight and the walk back only took 10 mins. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. I would definitely... More

Allocated room 4 which was spacious, clean, well decorated and has a lovely en-suite. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and willing to help in any way. Regrettably we didn't try the restaurant as we were partying in another establishment. Location is very good for touring the area and the hotel has a good car park.

I recently stayed at the Malt House with a group of friends for a long weekend, using it as a base for a walking tour of the West Cotswolds. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and set us up well for the day's walking ahead. We also had 2 lovely evening meals However, what really... More

Stayed two nights here (Friday & Saturday) and found it very comfortable (room 8), clean and spacious. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive - as is their staff. Breakfast is excellent! We ate in the hotel restaurant on both evenings and found the food to be extremely good - I don't usually eat chips but on this occasion could... More

The hotel is in a good location for lots of attractions hence our choice. The service from the staff was very good and nothing seemed a problem. The food is a typical bar meal type of food with a few choices on the menu for the main meals. The breakfast was very good with fresh cooked food and a choice... More

My husband and I stayed en route from Devon to Yorkshire to break the journey. We couldn't have chosen a better place: our room (No 4) was very spacious, with a good sized bathroom (bath with shower) and wardrobe, a dressing table/desk for laptop, wifi, trouser press, hairdrier, a large bed (two singles together). Everything was very clean and tidy.... More
