We booked one of the meal and room deals for two nights and upgraded to a manor house room. The room was huge, the bed was massive and comfy. The bathroom was very modern and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We went for the specials menu on both evenings - probably one if the best meals I've ever eaten,... more

Stonehouse Court Hotel is simply a beautiful country house hotel and a hidden gem. A gorgeous historic building with stunning grounds, the manor house rooms have been sympathetically modernized and are very comfortable to stay in. Staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to help. Food is excellent and really good value for money. We have stayed... more

I've been using tripadvisor for the past three years to find hotels around the world, and generally I have found it to pretty spot on. However, I really don't understand any of the negative comments about Stone House Court - I think this hotel is fantastic! I stayed there on the bank holiday weekend with my husband and as as... more

Having stayed in many Johansens-recommended hotels and wondered just what their "inspector" was looking at, it is good to be able to find one that does justify its rating. The reviews on here can put you off, but we decide to book into this hotel and were so glad we did. This is a WONDERFUL hotel, we found the location... more

I stayed here on 18th July whilst visiting my son and his family who live in the area. We were impressed with the warm and friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere. The main rooms all have the original Elizabethan pannelling. Our room had a fabulous newly renovated en suite bathroom with roll topped bath, huge shower, large fluffy white towels... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Stonehouse Court Hotel. It's a stunning building overlooking beautiful gardens. Our room as very clean and fresh, the staff were very professional and we were made to feel very welcome. I notice that it has had a few poor reviews in the past but we had an excellent experience, the food was delicious and... more

I had written a comprehensive review a few weeks ago, however I fear it has not been printed due to the depth of disgust and the level of tirade for which i'd reported. Therefore I shall keep this very brief. Everything apart from the main building in this hotel is shocking, please do not let the picture blur your thoughts... more

As you will see from the pictures, the Stonehouse Court is a beautiful building set in glorious Gloucestershire countryside with a Norman church nestling in the rear corner of the expansive gardens. On arrival we were greeted with the charming sound of the practise ringing of the church bells. Our expectations were well and truly set as we walked through... more
