Because of the Races at Cheltenham, I had to say here on a business trip. The location is not as close to Cheltenham as I prefer it, yet the hotel was clean, the room was nice and the staff was always friendly (I am from Mexico, so extra bonus). For a family I consider to be nice as well. Just... More

Great option for a one-night stay and if you want somewhere clean and comfortable to stay. We had attended a party nearby, and needed somewhere to stay so rather than drive all the way home we stayed here. We paid around £50 for one of the Executive Rooms, which was non-smoking and situated at the back of the hotel. The... More

Arrived late at night after a long drive from Manchester. Greeted at Reception by Cristina, who was genuinely friendly and helpful- a credit to the organisation. Room was simply furnished, but warm, clean and comfortable. No complaints; good value for money.

We booked several rooms at this dump in August. Two weeks after our stay we all received £100 parking charge notices. In the end we had to employ a solicitor to sort out their mistake. We have yet to receive an appology or even a phone call from Days Inns for their foul-up. We are all well out of pocket... More

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and never felt letdown. At the end of the day it is a budget hotel - with hot showers, comfortable beds, always spotlessly clean and ideally suited for the M5 and centrally located for visiting Gloucester, Bristol or the Cotswolds. At this hotel you get far more than you should expect... More

Any hotel which offers the option of smoking rooms gets a 5-star rating these days. Why don't hotel comparison websites allow you to search for smoking rooms? Booked this place as a last resort as attending a tournament in Gloucester and although 15 miles away it was by far the cheapest option left. Booked on laterooms.com which said it was... More

We were travelling up from North Cornwall to our daughter in Mytholmroyd and decided to stay at this comfortable stopover. Booked in advance on their website and said we would be bringing our well behaved Border Terrier: which was fine. However when we got there we were told that he would be charged at £5 which I pointed out had... More

We stay at Days Inn because they are Dog friendly. The staff at Michaelwood are especially helpful & friendly. The rooms are clean, nice fluffy towels, nice pillows and beds are quite comfy although the singles are a little narrow for an adult Despite the proximity to the M5 they are quiet & the car parking is conveniently right outside... We have just arrived back home after staying for 2 nights at Days inn Michaelwood. We will certainly stay there again on our next visit to Bristol. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. The amazing thing about this motel is it is very peaceful and quiet considering it's close proximity to the M5.... More
