lovely hotel, excellent food, most staff are friendly, rooms nice and clean. however we had a few thousand pounds pinched from our room when we stayed there last year for the Cheltenham festival..The master key to the bedrooms had gone missing the day before our money got stolen, even though the hotel management knew this, they did not warn the... This is a lovely looking hotel in a very small village. The evenings( Fri and Sat) were very busy. We ate there both nights and the food was good, but we had to wait a while. All the staff were very helpful and friendly in spite of being kept busy by the amount of customers eating and drinking. The rooms... More

We frequently stay at the Old English Inns....especially when they have offers on. We stayed last weekend with friends at the Royal George and must say we really enjoyed it. The rooms were a lovely size with a massive, comfortable bed and they were very clean and warm. The staff were all really pleasant, especially Corinna, who waited on us... More

Just had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel in Gloucestershire. Bedroom was excellent, food was spot on both nights (We ate in the restaurant on first night and the bar the second night). The breakfast menu is above and beyond most other hotels, my wife enjoyed the Eggs Benedict both mornings! This hotel is also "doggy friendly" and... More

Needing a short break immediately after Christmas/New Year, we always try to escape to an Old English Inn for a couple of nights at this time of year. This was our 16th Inn, and we had a very pleasant time at this lovely hotel. The staff had obviously just come through a very busy period, and the day we arrived... More

We stayed here as part of a deal of £60 bed and breakfast for 2 nights which was a great deal for what we got. The hotel had obviously recently been refurbished and the communal areas were light and clean. It felt as though our room (19) was an after thought, it was tired with a cracked sink, shoddy paint...
