The hotel is in a pretty village and looks great when you arrive and check in. We stayed on a Saturday night as we could not stay at the venue for a wedding the following day and this was the closest hotel. Superior Room x 2, £130 Including Breakfast. On check In we were advised that check out was at... More

Had a very good weekend here. Great value thanks to a Daily Mail promotion. Lovely position on the edge of the Cotswolds, very near the Cotswold Way ,so ideal for walkers. Hotel is well decorated, clean and the rooms are a decent size with all facilities...hair dryer, iron etc. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and helpful.. BUT they'... More

We stayed at the Royal George for 2 nights in March and were absolutely delighted! The our room had a small fenced courtyard and the view was quintessentially 'English' overlooking rolling hills with a stately home that could be seen in the distance. It was very comfortable the food was delicious and we didn't want to leave!

On arriving we were very impressed with the look and location of the Hotel. It had gone through a recent refurbishmnet and the public areas looked good and the area is stunning, granted we had great weather. Our bedroom had seen some wear by the look of it and there was paint chipped off the wall at the back of... More

We stayed for a leisurely weekend - 11th/12th April. Car parking here is ample with plenty of free parking spaces. Check-in was clear & concise and we were in our room (No.26) within five minutes. It was clean, spacious & had evidently been refurbished recently. Also, it had a generously-sized en-suite and a full quota of towels. The one small... More

First time in the Cotswolds and stayed for 2 nights at Royal George. Room was a good size and comfortable - had a large double bed, flat screen TV and shower/bath. Some negatives were that the shower lead was very short and so we had to crouch down and the bed didn't have the most comfortable mattress. Furthermore we told... More

Four of us have just returned from a two night stay here. The place is almost impossible to fault, and for the cost of the stay fully justifies five stars. The public areas were roomy and clean, comfortable seating in the lovely bar area and a well laid out dining room. It was even warm enough to sit out one... More

Another great stay in this lovely hotel... From the ever efficient and welcoming Elaine on reception to all the lovely young waiting and bar staff, nothing is ever too much trouble. Michael runs a great team. Excellent food either in the peaceful dinning room or taken in the bar. Great rooms always give a great nights sleep. We will be... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Really enjoyed our time. Breakfast was very good cooked to order with a buffet of danish's, muffins, cereal, toast, tea/coffee, grapes and yoghurt. Had dinner every night in the restaurant and was great quality. New waitress served us twice and she was brilliant. Had the beef and ale pie twice. Prompt and friendly service everytime for... More
