The Glendalia is a unique boutique hotel located in the Glendale square. Glendale is a walkable and historic area north of Cincinnati convenient to I-75 and I-275. It is lovely to walk around and view the historic victorian homes. I have stayed there twice and enjoy the spacious suites and gourmet breakfasts and drinks that are placed in the fridge... More

I thought I had reserved a room here. The calendar here on Trip Advisor and the one on their web page which the link took me to for the Trip Advisor price both indicated rooms were available and when I booked my reservation online, it was accepted. I received a call the next day that indicated they were having problems... More

Kimmy, We are very sorry about this situation. From time to time, the links do not get updated from some of the outside providers and it puts us in an awkward position, with some of these things being out of our personal control. Customer service is the most important aspect of our business and we truly try our best to... More

Wonderful time overnight including the Culinary Studio. Had a fabulous dinner that we participated in the preparation, then a nice night in the hotel. Rooms are a mini apartment, not overly fancy but clean and well maintained with breakfast included. having breakfast in the fridge for the morning is a nice touch. Ready when you are.

We met friends here for dinner and an overnight stay. Checked in. Went to wine bar across the street and enjoyed a drink in a cozy, cute place. Returned to hotel for a wonderful dinner paired with wine prepared by chef Cynthia and manager/chef Rachel. We gathered around the demo kitchen to learn how to prepare mussels. We moved to... More

I arrived in Cincinnati late to find Not a single hotel availability on a Tuesday evening and chanced finding a bed and breakfast nearby. Fortunately, I stumbled onto Glendalia Boutique Hotel and for weary travelers that want a great night's sleep in a spacious living space with heated towel racks and cave shower with the hottest water; this is the... My husband arranged a most relaxing dining and lodging experience at the Glendalia. We were served a wonderful 4-course meal with wine pairing by Chef Cynthia. The décor of the king room was tasteful and having your own kitchen to prepare meals was an added touch. The frequent trains were not a bother to us at all. We walked around... More

What an oasis of beauty and tranquility just beyond the bustle of Cincinnati! I'm so glad I braved the freeway to get here. The hotel is in a historic building that has been lovingly renovated. The suite I stayed in was decorated and furnished with an updated take on Old World aesthetics... lovely and comfortable and spacious. Be sure to... More

Came back to Glendale for a brief visit and found a very nice place to rest and recoup after a busy schedule. It's certainly not new or flashy, rooms are all unique and filled with antiques - homey maybe? All the necessaries are up to date, bath, bedding and kitchen (of course a Keurig & real cream would be a... More

Just like home. trains and all. Loved the people at the Hotel and town. WE are from a train town in northern Ind. no bridges across Lake Mich. so everything comes by us, 8 trains and 2-3 expressways. We were there for the tennis matches. we want the same next year at the same time.. My wife's father was the... More

Upon arriving at the Glendalia, we saw street signs which stated “2 hour parking” between 7am-7pm, but we were relieved to be told that it wouldn’t be a problem if we remained longer. We were led up a long staircase to our suite, The Hannigan, which appeared as nice as we remembered from the online photos. Breakfast was already in... More

Thank you for your posting and the card you had left in your room. I apologize for the dripping faucet, I am not sure what happened, there was a water main break in the Village that evening and I think that was possibly what happened with the howling pipes and maybe what started the leak. None the less it has... More
