The era of the Great British tradition of accommodation has been a 'tour de force' for many years despite the rise in the 'plastic' faceless motor lodges it is still the Bed & Breakfasts of the UK that provide the travekller with the best value and comfort. I stayed at Harwood House as a stopover between flights from Stansted. Easy booking over the phone, not far from the airport, comfortable, clean, spacious room and really good value for money. Excellent vegetarian breakfast too! Warm and friendly service all throughout my short stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harwood House to anyone looking for a great guest house. more
