Stayed here whilst attending a wedding at Spains Park. Very clean and tidy, with pleasant rooms. Our bathroom was a little tired, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, with the fried breakfast served. My fried egg was overdone, but that is just me being picky. Staff were very friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Parking was a little... More

Was very comfortable... Only there to sleep and breakfast... All very clean...but.. Very noisy at night with the locals just out side our bedroom. Car park is very badly placed... Cars parked out side the window.. Not easy for residence to find a car park at night.... Suggest to ask for room away from outside smoking area if there are... More

We ate here for our anniversary last week and are very glad we did! We had looked into a lot of restaurants prior to our visit and chose this one. As it was our anniversary we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco each, courtesy of the restaurant, good start! The waiters and the manager were very friendly without be... More

The room itself tries to be boutique but falls short. I have no complaints about the cooked breakfast. The continental side of things could have more choice. But the hotel falls massively short in respect to noise. We stayed in one on their suites. Unfortunately our one sits on top of the outside bar area. The windows didn't close properly... More

Thank you for your review. I can advise you that we are having secondary glazing fitted to the windows to all rooms over looking the courtyard in the next 2 weeks to stop this problem. More

This is one of those rare hotels that gets almost everything right. We stayed for three nights this weekend and were very impressed. We used most of the facilities, including restaurant and pub. The included breakfast was also first-class. The food is excellent and all the staff were helpful and friendly, a special mention to the manager, jovial and always... More

The restaurant is nicely decorated and the welcome was fine. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. The waitress knew little about the menu and had to disappear to the kitchen every time we asked a question. When asked whether the trout came whole or as a fillet she replied it comes as a fish! The starters were very poor. The... More

We stayed overnight on Easter Sunday. The good aspects of this hotel were 1) the price. £49 for a twin room is pretty good value, but including breakfast made it even better. 2) the room itself had excellent facilities, was quiet, very comfortable and clean. 3) The staff were, in my experience, very helpful and obliging. 4) The breakfast was... This is the first time we have visited this hotel. We didn't know what to expect, but it was a fantastic place, excellent staff and the food was delicious. The DJ and soul singer JD were outstanding and it was obvious that everyone there was having a great time. We will definitely be returning.

Looked after by top professional staff, excellent service and food bearing in mind the place was full Great Bar and atmosphere. I would definitely go back as the food and service was so good... We were a table for eight people and I thought the bill was quite reasonable for what we had.

We stayed at the Saracens Head just for a night away, and wanted something comfortable but not too expensive. The hotel has been refurbished in the last couple of years; I cant comment on its previous condition, but our room was comfortable with a good shower and modern facilities, and although not all of it was to our taste the...
