Great if you are just stopping off. Really helpful to wedding parties. The room was well decorated with a touch of Essex bling. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially when I left the key in the room! Breakfast included was good, but veggie sausages not available.

Only ate here on a Tuesday night. Drink order mixed up - got vodka and orange instead of orange juice, but this was easily fixed. Food looked fancy, but wasn't. Stew wasn't stewed - everything was cooked separately and "artfully" arranged on the plate. Desserts were better.

Booked last minute so we could meet friends in Bishops Stortford. Hotel rooms are very clean and well presented with very comfortable bed! We also booked in the restaurant for dinner with our friends and had an excellent meal, which was extremely well presented, tasty and impressive. Would definitely recommend ! Well done.

First the positives. The staff at this hotel are really helpful. Next , the rest. The rooms are not that great, nor is the food. Do not visit on the last Friday of the month as it is party night and very noisy!

Recently myself and my partner stayed at the hotel and upon booking we were greeted by pleasant and helpful receptionist Olivia. Upon arrival we were greeted by another receptionist by the name of Deborah, she insisted on carrying our bags and nothing seemed to be too much for her. The room itself was plushly furnished and boasted a boutique standard,... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and I really love the accommodation. The rooms are always clean and well presented, try and get one of the rooms outdoors near the car park as they are lovely. I haven't eaten at the hotel but there's a lovely Indian and Chinese restaurant nearby. I would definitely stay here again, it's... More

Poorly managed on arrival of a large pre wedding evening party, Already with confusion over the rooms even though this had been clearly stated in an email. Then we find out its party night with extremely loud music till the early hours which was never mentioned before booking as we would never had booked if been told!!! They were unable... More

Stayed here whilst attending a wedding at Spains Park. Very clean and tidy, with pleasant rooms. Our bathroom was a little tired, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, with the fried breakfast served. My fried egg was overdone, but that is just me being picky. Staff were very friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Parking was a little... More

Was very comfortable... Only there to sleep and breakfast... All very clean...but.. Very noisy at night with the locals just out side our bedroom. Car park is very badly placed... Cars parked out side the window.. Not easy for residence to find a car park at night.... Suggest to ask for room away from outside smoking area if there are... More
