an unusual slightly "60s" looking building but inside the rooms are fine, in fact mine was very good. The staff are very helpful, the food good but the dining area a little cold. There was a slight damp smell in the bathroom but I think that could have been that the room had not been used...maybe! anyway the smell went... More

Clean hotel which served its purpose for overnight stay before Stansted flight. Epping a nice town 15 minutes walk away with some nice bars and restaurants. Special mention to Jose on reception who was very courteous and went out of his way to be helpful

The hotel was very OK, average in almost every aspect. Handily placed close to the M25 and easy to find. The rooms were quiet and OK, pleasant bar. The restraunt in truth was a little disappointing - the menu looked good.

The reception staff were really helpful and even upgraded our room at no extra cost. Instead of a room with two single beds we ended up having... More

Was such a lovely independent hotel till sold before the Olympics. As key area it's understandable but the prices doubled and it was not the same as it used to be. Still great inside and the staff and rooms are superb. It's just lost that little charm and gone into the standard multi owned section. Still a great place to... More
