The hotel facilities were poor. The rooms were very cold and there weren't any heating dials to change this. The towel radiator in the bathroom had mould growing on it. The hotel is clearly being used to house many new people to the UK. Coming back from our night out, the corridors had lots of undesirable men lingering about in... More

We have stayed here a few times and given how much we paid we have no complaints and would have to say its good value for the money. The room is perfectly adequate for an overnight stay and the room was very clean. The bedding was crisp and clean and the bathroom perfectly acceptable. The staff have always been pleasant... More

As I wanted to book the Best Western, The Bell Hotel, Epping, I called reservations and was told by a very helpful girl Hannah, that it was no longer part of Best Western Group. She kindly helped me find the number of what company has taken it over. I called the Bell Hotel in Epping and asked for reservations, and... More

Very tired looking hotel in need of a refurb, indifferent attitude of staff on reception (several people complaining) although the food was good the whole hotel lacks atmousphere, character and warmth. Everything very dated.

This is a very poorly run hotel I use the term hotel very loosely. The annex part is of a poor standard, the noise from the heating system was unbelievable,it eventually gave over at 7-45 am.the shower was choice of two settings freezing or scalding. I could go on faulty towers springs to mind. No response from the general manager so... More

Not a bad price for a mid-range hotel. The rooms were better than average, but the hotel is starting to feel it's age! The Inidan cuisine in the restaurant was better than average, tastey and served piping hot on hot plates! However, there was an issue with the serivice as there were only 6 cutsomers and it took 30 minutes... More

I didn't mind how basic the hotel was, I was there for one night after a friends wedding. But I do think £90 was a bit steep! The room wasn't bad, just very dated. However I did move the tea tray in my room to look for a plug and sound old crumbs and stale crisps behind it - so... More

Stayed over night on business. Reception where nice and friendly and the interior was fine, it wasn't until we found out our room was in the back building outside that reminded me of a school, the corridors were a bit creepy. The Room was clean, however there was a Dead spider in the ceiling light and spots of blood on... More
