My partner and I stayed here in December, for one night and enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in , I think it is Room 1, which was small but cosy with a shower room across the hallway, and a delightful balcony which overlooks the sea. The breakfast was very good and the couple who run the hotel are... More

Top draw B&B . Spotless room and bathroom, hot shower, comfy bed and a first class breakfast free of grease. All this on the sea, with convivial hosts! What more can you want. Easy walking distant to the town, plenty of parking close by. If you are going to Clacton-stay here

After a confusion over our booking we were shown to our room. I had booked a double room. We found this adequate and clean. Breakfast was good; cereal followed by a cooked breakfast. The only problem I found was I heard everything next door said, when they went to the toilet, boiled the kettle, slammed the door and sang.

Took my partner, daughter and her friend down to Clacton for a night during the summer hols. This place was decent enough, trusting owners, very friendly, and what a breakfast! Short walk to beach (the narrow but empty end). A 10-minute pleasant stroll to the Pier. Plenty of free parking.

Lovely contemporary room, very clean, lovely breakfast, great value for money. We were lucky and had a panoramic sea view. We met with family and had a toby carvery which is literally the other side of the bowling green opposite. Waking up to the sunshine this morning made it even extra special.

We was welcomed by mark. Short but sweet start. The house was warm and really clean. The room was at the back of the house but very pleasant view of the garden. Breakfast was fast and very well presented. Would we go back!! Definitely. Really nice b&b. Thank you for letting us stay xx

After booking this hotel last weekend for a 1 night stay this weekend, I have just been informed by the management by email (not even a phone call) that they can no longer provide the room that I reserved. Obviously I am very annoyed as this was a weekend booked for my nephew as its his birthday come up. After... More

Not surprised we received this review, given the nature of the person in question. The facts are for our old guests and potential new ones is that we were on holiday when the booking came through the day before we returned and 2 days before they were due to arrive. They used an online company that we have had problems... More
