service on front desk none! Time to get breakfast after ordering was reasonable and about right. Decor was nice, fresh coffee smell welcoming. Breakfast was great, top sausage, two fried eggs cooked so to dip the bread in 😃 one quibble the bread was un inviting. However two butters was more than enough and the wife liked this... Coffee was... More

Making rash decisions in the heat of the moment is, generally, ill-advised but I'd consider it remiss of me to not post a review about this 'hotel' whilst the memory/full horror of it is still fresh (the only thing that actually is as a consequence of the stay) hours after checking out. There is a town near me that has... More

After using TA for numerous years this is the first place I've visited which gave me the impetus to write a review. I visited this bar/pub 3 years ago and found it to be clean, welcoming and a step up from some of the other bars in the area. From the moment I walked In today I was disappointed. They... More

Unfortunately, it wasnt a good experience.... When we finally found the car park for the hotel it was awful with unlevel ground a crators all over the place. Next we found the reception and got our keys to the room. When goung up to our room the hall way lights were flickering all The way through the corridor and there... More

The only good thing I would say is that the hotel is in a good location if you're here to go clubbing. Our room was okay but there was no soap so we had to go and buy some. Our friends room on the other hand was awful! The draws were falling out, the window wouldn't open unless there was... More

Sometimes cheap hotels don't even try - they seem to have found their market - and don't put enough effort into providing a suitable service. This is a cheap hotel - right in the middle of town - excellent position and not too noisy - so you can get a good nights sleep. An iron and ironing board is provided... More

The recption desk was not manned when i I initially arrived. When i asked for a receipt for my room, I was told it would have to be hand written as they had run out of ink. Alarm bells started to ring at this point! The first room I was booked into smelt damp. To be fair i had accepted... More

I have travelled all over the world and can sleep almost anywhere. Based on your location, sometimes you have to accept that standards vary. This is Chelmsford in Essex, in the very centre but filthy dirty room Electric wires exposed Blood on carpet 1 very thin pillow on each bed I think a prison may be to a higher standard... More

Our room in this hotel was pretty horrific, the only window went straight on to an internal corridor so we had to keep the curtain closed the whole time. There was no external window. They provide us with a fan but that was little compensation for how boiling hot the room was. There was no breakfast provided which was a... More
