The Miami is situated on the edge of Chelmsford, it is what it is, the rooms are very dated and tired but clean The staff are a absolute dream, the night guy is a Lenny Henry look alike 1 really nice chap, all the staff were a pleasure to deal with The reception, dining and bar areas are spotless and... Not good value for money, beds where cheap and uncomfortable, noisy room, breakfast was overcooked and sparse, overall not a place I would recommend.. There are a lot better places within the Chelmsford area and at better value.

Nearly put poor due to the breakfast, however I will try to be factual and for get the burnt toast! Hotel is ok. Room is ok. Clean. My mattress was good but my husband said his wasn't! The pillow wasn't very good but.... Bathroom ok. Towels a little small. The table cloth had burns in it. Price ok but not... More

Hotel has great potential and great if you need a bed. Conference facilities were really good but what really lets this place down is the hotel is stuck in 1970s. Is in desperate need of refurbishment. In the entrance there are old black and white family photos, who wants to see them? I would not return again until a lick... More

Stayed here on business and would not stay here again. Firstly, there were issues with the pre booked check-in which took time to resolve. The area behind the hotel is used as a unofficial race track by 'boy racers' reviving their engines until the early hours. There appears to be no night staff to report any issues to so when... More

Friendly and efficient staff booked us in and directed us to our room. The room was clean and had the usual courtesy tray. Beds and pillows were comfortable and linen clean and crisp. The bathroom was small and dated and a little grubby. Walls are very thin and it was easy to hear conversations from adjoining rooms. Overall there seemed... More

Very simple hotel at a great price. Comfortable, clean rooms, had tea/coffee maker and hairdryer. V simple basic bathroom but it was perfectly clean. Warm service on reception. An excellent breakfast for the money, small continental selection and full English cooked to order, didn't have to wait long. Very pleasant stay for one night away from home. It's a miles... More

This place is next door to a Tesco - handy I suppose. 15 minute walk to town. My room was very dated and old fashioned. My shower was barely a trickle. My carpet stained. My bed uncomfortable and my pillows cheap and thin,. Not much sleep because of doors banging. No place for me when i am away on business... More

I came here with a group and we needed quite a few rooms, breakfast and an evening meal served at the same time. I found the room clean and comfortable with a good wifi connection so I could send daily reports to our website. The food was very good and served efficiently and at a good speed and there was... Hotel has character, is located next to a tescos which can prove handy and you can walk into town within 15 mins. Warmly welcomed by reception when checking in although the check in process was a bit dated. There is a free car park which is helpful. Breakfast was nice, good waitress service and comfy seats. Room was a bit... More
