Clean pleasant recently refurbished great staff and very comfortable beds. Car park at £7.50 is a real pain though and there should be a warning on the website also horrendous to get to with all the roads around the area for next 12 months . Great sleep undisturbed so as far as it goes does its job well

My stay was very relaxing. The pillows provided good support and the bed was comfortable and, unlike a previous stay, didn't creak every time I moved on it. The temperature in the room was pretty hot throughout my time in the room.

I arrived with a warm welcome, was told reception was open 24 hours and they were here to help. On entering my room I could hear a loud tv opposite and kids screaming. I am a light sleeper so went to reception and spoke to Debbie, same person who checked me in. It was like speaking to a different person... More

Ok, you get what you pay for, and I wasn't paying! Spacious room minimal furniture. Very hot even at the end of September, and with the window open and fan on. Put the fan on the chair and got it as close to the bed as possible, but then couldn't charge both phones, (not enough sockets). Restless night, too hot... More

Stayed for a wedding, wouldn't recommend to others. The room was so hot that it was impossible to have a good nights sleep. We had a fan in the room but it did little to stop the problem as ridiculously there are no plugs by the beds so the fan was far away. The lack of plugs made it annoying to... More

I stayed here with my family for a wedding, the rooms where clean but the beds where Rock hard! The rooms where really hot! Even with the fan on all night I still didn't get a good night sleep! It was very loud being next to the main road and people slamming doors at 4 o'clock in the morning, the... More

As a cheap convenient place to stay this is OK but it is a noisy Lodge due to incessant traffic from the road outside all night. The rooms at the rear suffer from slamming doors in the car park. No air con so rooms are hot and stuffy although fans are provided. Decor and furnishings are fresh and minimilistic but... More

I stayed here for 2 nights for a friends wedding, the first night in a 3 person room with friends and the second night in a 2 person room with my partner. We had multiple issues throughout our stay. Firstly the rooms were unbearably hot both nights and meant that none of us slept well, waking up constantly throughout the... More
