I can't thank everyone enough at the Marygreen for my amazing wedding in August this year. Everything - the food, service and organisation (despite us taking over pretty much the whole venue including the gorgeous Tudors restaurant) - was just perfect. Big thanks to Cyril and Pepe and his team - you had your work cut out that day and... More

I visited the Tudor restaurant for lunch last week with friends. We had a superb lunch served by friendly staff. The food is excellent and afterwards we sat in their wood panelled lounge which has a warm and cosy atmosphere for coffee. The hotel dates back to Tudor times and is well situated for the M25, J 28. It is... More

This is an exceptional hotel situation a mile or so from the M25. The food and accommodation are top notch with the breakfast being especially memorable. It is clean and tidy, although I would think it is more a couples/ business traveller hotel rather than a family one. Have stayed here on numerous occasions for the odd night on the... More

Tudor style hotel in good location - rooms are very comfortable and being able to open windows and look out on a beautiful courtyard garden is a plus. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We also held an afternoon tea here following a family funeral. This was handled with sympathetic efficiency and also willing assistance provided for some elderly... More

This is situated close to junction 28 on the M25 so if needing an overnight stopover with a touch of olde world style this is the ideal place. It would probably appeal to the more mature client as the theme of the hotel is Tudor era.

Stayed for just one night in August, this hotel is over 500 years old and it has all the charm. We had a suite with a four poster bed and separate sitting area. Its got a good restaurant and serves a decent breakfast. Just be aware that some of the rooms are difficult to access due to narrow stairs and... More

we had a celebration of our friends golden anniversary on the 5th sept. many of us had rooms booked and stayed the night. the rooms varied greatly from acceptable (which was ours) to poor .one room had a fold down bed and another had metal poking through the mattress.the gardens are very nice and with a bit more attention it... I was full of the joys of celebration as most of the family were attending the wedding of our nephew. At first look and from the front the hotel glows with excellence the 'olde worlde' reception added to the ambience of the place and we were looking forward to our stay that is until we got to our room that... Thank you very much for your review. Firstly I am delighted that you found our staff to be "the ultimate in efficiency and good manners" and that you were very pleased with your breakfast and our restaurant service. Your holiday camp reference is a little unclear and I am not entirely sure of your point; I would, however, be more... More

Our one night stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. It was mine and my husbands first break away from our toddler so we were looking forward to it. We walked into our room in Brampton Lodge to be greeted by the filthiest carpet I have ever seen in a hotel. I had to wear my shoes at all... More
