We held our wedding at Marygreen in their Samuel Pepys room which was ideal for our party of 15. We were not staying there overnight but were given a complimentary bedroom to change clothes which was much appreciated. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive. We were allocated a private area of the bar/conservatory whilst waiting for the SP... More

I booked three rooms at the Marygreen Manor Hotel as part of their winter deal for my birthday get-together. We paid £69.50 per person…Outstanding value with friendly, very helpful and polite staff...Was also given free room upgrade! The whole party commented on how delicious the food was. Thank you Marygreen Manor. :-) More

I was booked to stay in the Marygreen Manor Hotel with a group of colleagues and upon arrival was informed there had been an error in their booking system and that they did not have a room for me and that they had booked me a hotel near by. This meant that I was seperated from my colleagues, I had... More

We booked the Marygreen Manor for our very small and informal wedding in January. The wedding was a surprise to our guests who thought they were coming to my husband's birthday lunch. The staff were completely accommodating and helped us get the guests to the wedding room without letting on! We had lunch in the restaurant which we had chosen... More

We stayed at the hotel for the occasion of a family funeral. However the comfort and excellence of the hotel and staff helped, what was, a sad time for us. More

Stayed one night whilst attending a wedding. For the price we were very impressed with the accommodation, the food and in particular the staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area. I think it would also be a nice place to take someone for afternoon tea, I am told... 10 of us went to the Tudor Room for our party night. Went there 20 years ago and it was wonderful. Went there 20 years later and it was still wonderful. Effort had been made on the decorations which looked beautiful. I read a review from one diner who said that there was brown meat hidden under white turkey meat.... More

We had dinner in the main cathedral like dining room. Service was excellent. The choice of meals was good and varied. Every course was visually attractive and tasted good. Only two things were of comment on the table about our experience. 1. A couple of our party had a turkey Xmas dinner. There was brown turkey meat 'hidden' under the... More

We have not stayed there overnight for many years as we live less than a mile from this venue. However, we have booked rooms for friends and family who have sung the praises of the place. On the other hand, we have used the Restaurants (the main one with vaulted ceiling and the conservatory) many, many times. It's not the... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had dinner in the Tudor restaurant. It was a wonderful and very special experience. The service was impeccable and the meal excellent. Thoroughly recommended. More
