A site that grows on you, easy access to lots of places of interest. Beach not the best but still useable. Very busy site, the wardens here do a very hard job and are very friendly, warm welcome, taken to suitable pitch. Perhaps reason some feel as they do about wardens is this site is very very busy and staff... More

Took Grandchildren for four nights to visit Eastbourne Airshow. Bus is shown as a few hundred yards, it's a mile and a quarter to the main regular bus stop. Train is nearer but evening service returning is poor. Considering how full the site was the toilets were clean at all times I went in, as were showers. Our older grandchildren... More

Been before years ago and remember having a good stay , we turned up on the off chance and found the feeling of being a real inconvenience ! They fitted us in but when asked if we were a member of the CC club, I replied that we used to be (making conversation), to be sternly told "I didn't ask... More

We had read reviews that the staff were unfriendly at this site but before our stay we spoke on the telephone to the manager and she was lovely, saying that the bad reviews were the past managers. Not true unfortunately, sadly its her current staff and maybe she just isn't aware of it. Whilst not having direct conflict with the... More

just spent 4 nights at this amazing site, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much for them, Did have riff raff on site who decided to turn the toilets into a war zone, emptied the sani bins on the floor, pulled all the toilet rolls out thinking they were the andrex puppy, the staff were amazing, cleaned... Spent 12 nights here and didn't want to leave. All the staff were very friendly and helpful even though the site was very busy. The toilet blocks were well looked after and the site was spotlessly clean. There was easy access to the pebble beach just across the road, and the train station was only half a mile along a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 22/23rd of July and the weather was scorching! Check in very straightforward and the guy on his bike was patient to give us lots of pitch options. The site is right opposite the beach which is pebbly and very dog friendly. No restrictions on the beach, barbecue swim but no lifeguard which was expected! We... More

Firstly, I have three small children and can completely understand the no ball game rule. Most vans parked here are expensive. You can play ball games on the beach, just a little bit different! The staff are friendly. The toilets are clean. You are a 10 mins walk to the train station to go to Eastbourne, Brighton or Hastings. My... More

What a let down. My son and family were looking forward to a weekend in Eastbourne. We spent the day at the beach and then arrived to camp in the evening. Immediately we were told "no ball games". and " its better for everyone" - yeah well , my thoughts were "except for the children". There a sign recommending ball... More

We are C & CC members and read reviews by others before booking. We found our experience quite good. This is a very busy site with many European visitors. The no football on site rule is corrrct, no camper wants tp put up with stray footballls and space at this site is limited due to its popularity. Spaces between pitches... More
