Stayed here for 2 nights 22/23rd of July and the weather was scorching! Check in very straightforward and the guy on his bike was patient to give us lots of pitch options. The site is right opposite the beach which is pebbly and very dog friendly. No restrictions on the beach, barbecue swim but no lifeguard which was expected! We... More

Firstly, I have three small children and can completely understand the no ball game rule. Most vans parked here are expensive. You can play ball games on the beach, just a little bit different! The staff are friendly. The toilets are clean. You are a 10 mins walk to the train station to go to Eastbourne, Brighton or Hastings. My... More

What a let down. My son and family were looking forward to a weekend in Eastbourne. We spent the day at the beach and then arrived to camp in the evening. Immediately we were told "no ball games". and " its better for everyone" - yeah well , my thoughts were "except for the children". There a sign recommending ball... More

We are C & CC members and read reviews by others before booking. We found our experience quite good. This is a very busy site with many European visitors. The no football on site rule is corrrct, no camper wants tp put up with stray footballls and space at this site is limited due to its popularity. Spaces between pitches... More

Expected this to be a good site being a Camping and Caravan site and so close to the sea. Had read somewhere that the sea would be heard at night and imagined that the sea would be visible, neither happened. We travelled over 300 miles for a weekend trip and expected more. The dishwashing area had black mould topped with... More

Just finising our first week at this site, I cant find any faults at all, we have another week to go, we travelled 300 miles to this site and well worth every mile, we certainly will comeack. The wardens were all very friendly and helpful, the beach is a 2 minute walk away and if you are into fishing your... More

The staff is friendly, campsite is nice located and practical on the beach. But the rules about where to pitch your tent are very strict but not well sign posted. And when you pitch your tent half a meter to near to another tent, the staff will make you move your tent. Ball canes are not allowed on the campsite,... More

Just back from a short family break in the wet. Staff friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were clean, but there were queues at peak time in the morning. Bread delivery would be useful as the shop was a bit limited in stock. Pitches are of a good size but there are no hedgerows or natural screens so felt open... More

Just back from a week at norman's bay campsite and LOVE IT. Staff happy and helpful, the beach was great for the dogs to run on which is nice this time of the year (dogs can go on the beach here all year long) we also had a bbq on the beach. Kids can play ball game on the beach... More

On paper this site should have been ideal for me and my family , there it ended. Upon arrival I experienced managers moaning about clients, we were handed a set of site rules at check in which did not completely reflect what was being shown at the time on their website, ( since my complaint apparently updated ) our main...
