The sites OK but the management are needlessly rude unkind and unhelpful jobsworths, Nothing much for children but clean loos etc. Management were so nasty that I have cancelled my direct debit to the Camping and Caravan Club, They describe their club as the friendly club, yer right.

We were a bit worried about visiting this site after reading some of the reviews. However we stayed 2 nights at the end of Oct. we arrived in the dark and the staff were very helpful. The pitch was large enough for our camper van and awning without being to close to those next to us. The toilet block was... More

We stayed at Normans Bay for 10 nights at the end of August and over the Bank Holiday Monday. Like many others I had read previous reviews and was a bit unsure about what we would find but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a busy site but being right on the beach it is very popular and even over... More

A site that grows on you, easy access to lots of places of interest. Beach not the best but still useable. Very busy site, the wardens here do a very hard job and are very friendly, warm welcome, taken to suitable pitch. Perhaps reason some feel as they do about wardens is this site is very very busy and staff... More

We went to Normans Bay as a group of 8 for a small bank holiday break, once arriving at the campsite and booking to get our pitch the woman at the desk (blonde, tattooed and toothless) kept repeating how she hated group bookings!! She was also very rude to many other people in the group calling them an idiot as... More

Took Grandchildren for four nights to visit Eastbourne Airshow. Bus is shown as a few hundred yards, it's a mile and a quarter to the main regular bus stop. Train is nearer but evening service returning is poor. Considering how full the site was the toilets were clean at all times I went in, as were showers. Our older grandchildren... More

Been before years ago and remember having a good stay , we turned up on the off chance and found the feeling of being a real inconvenience ! They fitted us in but when asked if we were a member of the CC club, I replied that we used to be (making conversation), to be sternly told "I didn't ask... More

We had read reviews that the staff were unfriendly at this site but before our stay we spoke on the telephone to the manager and she was lovely, saying that the bad reviews were the past managers. Not true unfortunately, sadly its her current staff and maybe she just isn't aware of it. Whilst not having direct conflict with the... More

just spent 4 nights at this amazing site, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much for them, Did have riff raff on site who decided to turn the toilets into a war zone, emptied the sani bins on the floor, pulled all the toilet rolls out thinking they were the andrex puppy, the staff were amazing, cleaned... Spent 12 nights here and didn't want to leave. All the staff were very friendly and helpful even though the site was very busy. The toilet blocks were well looked after and the site was spotlessly clean. There was easy access to the pebble beach just across the road, and the train station was only half a mile along a...
