stayed for five nights Shower block bit dated but always clean and tidy Staff very welcoming and helpful Beach just across the road so great for us as we have dogs If had to moan and it would be just a moan ( put some heating in the shower block) You can see the new staff are trying there best... Lovely campsite which we have stayed at many times. Located almost on the beach with nice size pitches. Amenities include laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. Shower block facilities include a hairdryer. Small shop on site and Asda a five minute drive away. Staff are friendly and helpful and had no problem with them at all. Would... More

We chose this site did to its proximity to the beach which is literally about 20 yards away. We expected a brisk sea breeze and possibly unpredictable weather for this time of year and weren't disappointed. However, the road approaching the site had two very large potholes which require urgent attention. We went over one of them and it was... More

Been here five times now camping . We have had a good time every time . We like fishing and kayaking and have a dog so it is perfect for us . The staff are sometimes a bit brisk but they are funny and sometimes people don't understand there humour . The toilets and showers Are fine they are a... More

the up side - fab location right on the sea and with a rail station about 10 mins walk with an hourly service to Eastbourne, Brighton, Bexhill & Hastings. The down side - if the weather is bad - the site is ill equipped to cope. when we visited over a cold and blowy Easter there were lots of teething... More

Booked last minute so did not review prior. On the approach to the site the first impression is that the area looks a bit like a shanty town. This was very off putting but there is nothing the site can do about the road in. On arrival, the staff were a little frosty but having said that it was one... More

We have been there many times over the last 5 years it’s a great site right next to the beach, but the standards have gone down because of bad management. 1. Grass to long and not cut around service area weeds growing around toilet blocks a ft high. 2. Toilets block cleaning not up to standard. 3. One of the... More

The sites OK but the management are needlessly rude unkind and unhelpful jobsworths, Nothing much for children but clean loos etc. Management were so nasty that I have cancelled my direct debit to the Camping and Caravan Club, They describe their club as the friendly club, yer right.

We were a bit worried about visiting this site after reading some of the reviews. However we stayed 2 nights at the end of Oct. we arrived in the dark and the staff were very helpful. The pitch was large enough for our camper van and awning without being to close to those next to us. The toilet block was... More

We stayed at Normans Bay for 10 nights at the end of August and over the Bank Holiday Monday. Like many others I had read previous reviews and was a bit unsure about what we would find but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a busy site but being right on the beach it is very popular and even over... More
