Friendly and knowledgable reception staff. Rooms typical of the Premier Inn with plenty of space, but not much storage. We found the room very hot, even in October! There was a fan provided and this helped a little. The construction of the hotel meant that we were very aware of the people in the room above and this could have... More

Asked receptionist when it would be a good time tol eat at the Brewers Fayre (attached) as due to the weather it was very busy, she said not problem will book you a table... More

Great staff attitude and friendly, even if the trainee receptionist sent me upstairs when my room was on the ground floor. Good meals for dinner and breakfast but not really on the ball with meeting and greeting. That aside the service was quick and very friendly. Bed perfect as usual, no soap in the shower dispenser but easily rectified. Rooms... More

On returning to UK on the Dieppe ferry at 21:30 I certainly did not feel like driving another 4/5 hours to get home so we did a mobile Google search to find somewhere to stay. The Premier Inn had a room available so we booked it via mobile then set out from the ferry port to find it which was... More

Stayed at Newhaven as a base for visiting various places, for short break. Arrival at the hotel, you have to drive through Sainsbury's could be better sign posted. Welcome from the ladies at reception was very warm and friendly. Carol and Maxine could not have been friendlier, and made us feel at ease right away. Every encounter with the ladies... More

We visited friends in Newhaven and stayed at this hotel and could not fault it. Room was very clean and tidy and a good size. Bathroom was spot on. We only had the breakfast as friends had feed us before arrival. The breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent.

If you prefer consistently average to risking the odd poor experience to weigh against many fantastic and unusual ones, then I guess Premier Inn is for you. I never seem to get the really cheap rates, so maybe that would make me tolerate average better. Personally I prefer individuality. Also get real about free wi-fi Premier Inn. It should be... More

We came to stay here as we were going to a friend's wedding in Brighton and found the prices in Brighton particularly expensive so decided to stay just outside. The accommodation is of a great quality, the pub and Sainsburys right next door is very handy. The staff were so very friendly. We would definitely come back here next time... More
