Our family of four have just stayed here for the 5th time on the Starfish Course. The hotel was even better than last year! The pool was open and warm which my boys loved. The food was lovely, as were the staff. We even had the pleasure of the owner at both evening meals! The rooms are getting better too.... More

Just visited the Boship Farm Hotel for 3 days whilst on a course with my son. Excellent service from all the staff. Some of the rooms may look a little tired, but as the hotel is been renovated. ...this is not a problem at all. Looking forward to our return

I stayed here with my son for 3 nights from the 19th August 2014. Same old situation where you read the reviews and are a bit dubious. We were, however, more than pleasantly surprised. We had dinner and breakfast each evening. The breakfast buffet serving a good old full English was top notch with everything you could ask for. The... More

We stayed as a couple in August for one night whilst visiting friends locally. The appearance of the hotel is exceptional, however needing a convenient room for a disabled person we were given a motel type room. Excellent to be able to park outside the door of our room, but the area around the door was dirty and unswept, with... More

From the outside it looks promising, stunning building. Inside is tired, old grubby rooms, lights didn't work, grubby basic bathroom. Food was pretty horrible. Soup like wallpaper paste and very over cooked salmon. Real shame, lovely grounds filled with deer and alpacas. Great outdoor pool.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The garden was beautiful. But, apart from that, it was more like "Fawlty Towers" revisited. The room was tiny and looked as if it were last decorated in 1970. It was very tatty and grim. Hot water was erratic and whilst in the shower, it suddenly went scalding hot. Our toilet didn't flush properly.... More

Stayed here with friends for 2 nights ,all I can say is that it was a talking point!! The rooms we stayed in we're very tired but clean ,the curtains were hanging off the rail and we had a fan in our room, where our friends had a fridge!! Out side a field with Emus / Goats and Llamas !! Also... More

Stayed for one night whilst visiting family and attending baby christening. Really friendly and at tentative staff. Stayed in basic double room with ensuite, we must have stayed on the hottest night of the year quite unbearable in room at night even though you are supplied a fan, A/c not in this room. Room clean and tidy, bit mismatch and... More

We thought every member of staff couldn´t have been more helpful and accommodating .. but from the moment we walked into the hotel we were shocked and the jaw dropping poor taste of decor and condition of rooms. The hotel exterior is beautiful ... and clearly had it´s day --- but in the hotel bar/lounge the mix of traditional pub... More

Stayed here for 2 nights visiting family in Hailsham. We arrived late on a Friday night and had two double rooms booked. The night porter was very prompt in letting us in and helped us to our rooms with our bags. Thankfully we were on the ground floor, rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was lovely and comfy. Breakfast... More
