Used this hotel twice to meet with colleagues for business meeting. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place to sit and get work done. Tea n coffee when needed and lunch menus is great. I will be using more often when I need a nice comfortable quiet place to sit and work.

We stayed only for one night but was pleased with the friendly atmosphere and cosy surroundings, with open fires and large comfy leather sofas in the lobby. I booked a superior room, which was nice and clean, the bed comfy but I was expecting a little more luxury as it was a grade up from a basic room. The breakfast... More

We stayed for 2 nights over Valentine's weekend with our 2 dogs. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the food was excellent value. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We stayed in room 204, which was a little tired looking, but as we had dogs, didn't have to worry about them spoiling it.

stayed 3 nights here and loved every minute. Staff were great and so friendly. Room was clean and more than adequate, constant hot water etc. Ate twice in the evening, food was lovely and served very quickly. No complaints so would certainly return when in the area and recommend highly to other travellers.very good prices on everything.

We chose this restaurant as it was central for the six of us, old friends, meeting up for lunch. We had booked a table but being midweek it wasn't too busy anyway. Staff were friendly and attentive. We were given a round table in a corner to one side of the main eating area and it was great to be... More

Booked for an overnight while on business in the area. Great accommodation, comfortable and clean. Good food, with a wide choice on the menu, and all the normal breakfast options including 'full english'. Easy to find, and best of all, REAL beer. Good old fashioned Greene King country pub / hotel. Staff efficient friendly and polite, Excellent value too.

Had comfortable, quiet, warm room for 2 nights at the Roebuck. Visit family in East Grinstead and this is our 3rd stay here. Food menu varied and well priced either in the Restuarant or in the bar. Staff efficient and Friendly

A nice hotel just outside East Grinstead and close by to Gatwick. The Restaurant closes early here as it is only really open for the hotel guests so bear this in mind if you are planning to eat in the evening. We found it closed at 9 on our visit with the bar open till near midnight. There are a... More

This is the first time that we have stayed with the Old English Inns chain, and if they are all like this one, then we will be looking out for these more often! We were very happy with our room which was a good size with a comfortable bed, well-stocked hospitality tray and decent sized bathroom. The hotel is surrounded... More
