Stayed here as it was very convenient for the 60th party we went to. Room was adequate for a stay of one night. Breakfast was of a good standard. Staff were friendly. View was lovely but when we were there weather not to good, so difficult to see it properly.

Good size room, with views over the Weald at the rear. Pity we could not draw back the net curtains to see the view as they were stuck solid by rusty wires! Room clean and tidy, and bed comfy and as we were only here for an overnight it did the job. But the pub and these rooms just need... More

When booking a room to attend a family wedding we asked if it would be possible to be in the room early as we needed to get changed. They were very accommodating on this and made sure the room was cleaned and ready for us at the time they said. All the staff made you made you feel very welcome.... More

Get a room facing the hills at the back...super view Kevin and staff were most helpful. Not the most modern ..but very charming rooms. Nice pub and dining area. ......parking at a premium but most everything within walking distance. Convenience store and ATM across the street as well as place to buy your newspapers and fresh bread.

We stayed two nights here. The person who showed us to our room seemed a bit bored. The room was a decent size and was clean, but a little on the shabby side. The curtains to the patio doors were hanging off a bit from the rails, but I couldn't fix them because the hooks were missing. Also,we couldn't get... More

We stayed here as a party of 8 adults and 2 children. The surrounding views are lovely and the rooms were all clean and spacious. It was fun to stay in our individual motel rooms which are all named after characters from the Jungle Book. We ordered food and drinks from the bar and we were all very impressed with... More

Good place for an overnight stay! Room was pretty standard but had great views over the fields. Nice garden to sit in and enjoy drinks and bar food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lack of mirrors in bedroom near a power point for ladies to 'fix' their hair!

What can I say. This place was a god send. We were planning on camping last Friday but the storms hit. We rang the hotel and they were able to book us in straight away. The beds were so comfortable. That was appreciated at that time. Fantastic people who made us feel very welcome. Would certainly recommend to my friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in the village and as a result all the rooms were occupied by our wedding party. The rooms are clean although fairly basic. I found the bed incredibly comfy and the room looked out onto beautiful views of Sussex. The motel rooms are next to the main pub and this is... More

We stayed for two nights, the accommodation is good, clean and comfortable, would have given this a score of five but for one point, the toilet seat in the bathroom could do with replacing as it's a bit worn, The view is stunning from the double rooms, would be nice if there had been garden furniture on the patio. Make... More
