We called in on a Monday night on our way through after driving back from Belgium. Wasn't sure what to expect but we loved it. With ages in our party ranging from 3 to 71 years old, we were all really impressed with the food and the excellent service from the young waitress who could not of been more accommodating... More

We enjoyed this hotel for its position, it's friendliness and delightful food. When we were there the weather was fantastic and this made the marvellous views from the hotel even better. The menus were interesting, well presented and good value for money. After lunch we sat right next to beach on a pleasant patio frequentled by many people - old... More

My husband and I stayed here on the night of the 18th October for an 80th Birthday celebration. We had booked (separately) from others in our family group, online. When we checked in, along with 2 other couples in our group, we discovered that our room (despite being an identical twin room, overlooking the car park) was £30 more than... More

Every time I visit this beautiful beachfront hotel, it seems to have improved in some way. Upgraded rooms, an enthusiastic staff....and now the food. Have just enjoyed a fabulous meal, beautifully served, in the company of friends. Huge helpings, tastefully presented, chosen from a mouth-watering selection. The prices are very reasonable, too. No wonder the locals flock here for Sunday's... More

Our family ate hear for a Birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was very good. Large car park, so parking not a problem. The restaurant is right on the beach so uninterrupted views out to sea. Will definitely eat here again.

Recently took my Mum (and my dog) for a two night break and it was lovely. The room was fantastic, had a lovely sea view and really comfortable beds. Dined in the Cooden Tavern both nights and the food and service were excellent and good value. First time I have ever taken my dog to a hotel so wasn't sure... More

Treated my parents and daughter to Champagne Afternoon Tea on a Tuesday afternoon at the end of July. Afternoon Tea was served in their restaurant that overlooks the beach and as we were the only people in there, had the best window seat in the house. The food was very good and service was very friendly and attentive. We were... More

Stayed here for two nights on the recommendation of a colleague. Staff very friendly and professional, room quiet, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only disappointment was the food which wasn't really up to the standard of the hotel as a whole. The only posh bit about "posh fish and chips" was the presentation. The portion of fish was quite... More

I stayed here on business for 1 night and it was a nice hotel. The facilities - pool, gym, sauna etc - were a real bonus as it's nice to have something to do in the evenings. I stayed in room 106 which had quite a dated decor... but was very clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful, friendly and... More

Unexpected and Beautiful setting right on the beach with good sized hotel car park. Reception was professional and friendly. Very Clean rooms and everything needed was there including good WIFI (Free), Ideal for both Business or pleasure visit. Very good value for money.
