We had our honeymoon here some 46 years ago and decided to spend a night there to try and see what the hotel looked like after all these years. In fact we could not really recall what the hotel looked like as it had been extended from the original building. We were a little apprehensive because of some of the... More

We booked our wedding 13 months before the day. Fell in love with the hotel, the setting and the wonderful wedding planner. Throughout those months, we were left to organise our day with as much or as little input and help as we wished. The day before arrived, family and friends were welcomed warmly and attentively. No one was left... More

Needed to have a complete rest so booked a room to get away from things. Single room was spacious with a very high grade bathroom. Fantastic sea views as the hotel is literally on the beach. Great facilities for a small hotel. Spa bars pub etc. Breakfast was delicious. Best eggs benedict in years!! Staff warm and helpful. Well done!!

We stopped here late this afternoon and decided to have tea here, the staff were friendly we hadn't booked but that wasn't a problem we had tea in the restaurant overlooking the beach, it was all fresh and the waiter was quite happy to change the jam for a different flavour, then we strolled along the beach to wear off... My partner and I came to Cooden Beach Hotel for an afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. We went for the full afternoon tea which consisted of tea, sandwiches, cakes and the nicest warm scones I have ever tasted! We had a great seat that looked out towards the sea. I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely be going... More

A very pleasurable stay. This hotel is almost directly on the Cooden Beach and we have a fine time. Room ( in the annex) was clean well appointed and had a fine view of the sea. We met up for a family reunion later on in the restaurant and had a jolly nice, not very expensive, meal. I would happily... More

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Food good with fairly good service in the dining room. I had a single room which had good wardrobe space and a reasonable view of the beach. I really enjoyed the swimming pool , along with the steam and sauna. The only slight moan was the fact that there was not a lift and... More

My husband & I stayed here for a family wedding. We requested early check in so we could change for the wedding. Having arrived at 11.30 we were told to come back at 12.30 for check in. So an hour later we returned, but were told to come back 30 mins later. The reception manager was incredibly rude and not... More

Sorry taken so long to leave a review. Came here during off season and although it was raining outside the place was warm and friendly inside. Nice bar area to sit in. Didn't have an evening meal there as went out but breakfast was good. Really comfortable bed had a very good night sleep. Good TV, clean. Would like to... More

I stayed at this hotel as my daughter was getting married in Hastings. I had recently moved from the Bexhill area after living there for 30 years and decided to stay at the Cooden Beach Hotel after driving past it every day and never having stayed there. I loved my 3 night stay with beautiful sea views and a couple... More
