Nice looking hotel right beside the English Channel. Room allocated was noisy ( generator noise from swimming pool). The staff were very promp in allocating another much larger room. All seemed well until I settled down for the night. A leaking rone pipe( just along side my window) on a wet night leaking on to a plastic part of the... More

We had our wedding, including ceremony, meal and evening disco at The Cooden Beach Hotel on 21st March this year and it was an amazing day! The room when set up for the meal for over 120 guests was absolutely beautiful. Our guests have continually been giving us marvellous feedback on the day and how good it all was and... More

We were visiting friends in hastings and found this place whilst on a cycle route during the day and it looked lovely by the beach. We booked for a evening meal in the restaurant section. From arrival to the end of our evening we had exceptional service from the staff. We had the sea view from our table whilst eating... More

Friendly welcome at reception. Nice clean room overlooking the sea - room 705 in Sea Houses. We stayed on Sunday night and ate at the Beachside restaurant. Really excellent value 3 course meal. Tasty prawns to start and my husband had trout which he really enjoyed. My main of sea bass fillets were the best I have had the flesh... More

I stayed here for a period of 5 nights on business. The location is right next to the sea (some rooms have sea views) and is in a quiet area however I can imagine it being a little manic busy during the summer months. The hotel itself looks impressive as its a nice old building. The staff were pretty helpful... More

First went to the hotel on 4th April 2015 and were so impressed we have just done another night on 12th April. The location is right by the sea, so very pleasant walks along the seashore after an excellent fish and chips lunch in the hotel. Then use of the gym, pool, steam room and sauna before dinner. Our rooms... More

Stayed one night found the room very clean. Bed comfortable. Facilities very good. Breakfast excellent. The only dissapointment was there was no hairdryer in the room. Apart from that you can't fault the hotel and staff.

We stopped here for morning coffee while driving along to Bexhill. Nice coffee, pleasant staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Unhurried in a great location. We have visited before and will visit again. Great place.

We stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. Our room had a sea view and, whilst furniture was slightly dated it was clean and comfortable. The bed had memory foam mattress which was very comfortable. Bathroom was good an there was tea/coffee/biscuits in the room...would be nice to have bottled water. The wedding reception was held at the... More

A very nice hotel not overly modern really but with very friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the dining room. The view from the dining room window out to sea is fabulous. Our room was adequate considering we had an extra bed in for our 11 yr old but it was stuffy and we had to keep the... More

Thank you for your review and comments. We do consider ourselves to be a traditional comfortable rather than modern hotel. We have noted your comments about the shower and passed them to our maintenance department. A lot of guests use the train as it is nearby and provides easy access to Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne and Brighton. More
