We arrived thinking it had closed down sadly it hadn't. Corridors and carpets dirty, walls scuffed and grubby, bathroom toilet did not even have a flush button. Sandwich and breakfast were abysmal. We paid £90 for this room and have never had such a bad experience, fawlty towers has nothing on this. Obviously we differ from other people's standards. So... More

A fantastic location with the rooms and service to match. I ate here for both the evening meal and breakfast and both were outstanding, the rooms were extremely comfortable and I had an excellent nights sleep. The staff were both friendly and professional and would take care of all your needs. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

I have attended work functions in the winter several times and the food is always very good. The rooms are average but the location is very peaceful. The breakfast is superb and there is always plenty - don`t expect to be able to stick to your diet! A nice atmosphere and cosy in the winter.

On the 3rd of August 2014 my parents celebrated their Diamond Wedding at Leeford Place. We very much enjoyed the venue and it's grounds being able to spend time in the garden sitting chatting with beautiful surroundings, the weather was glorious and the many children present were able to run free and explore. We had a 3 course meal for... More

Beautiful location with lovely lawns & gardens.Staff extremely friendly & accommodating.Stayed for 3 days and breakfast excellent every day. Dined in hotel one evening and this was very ordinary .Standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel left something to be desired, although there was no shortage of clean linen each day. Beds were very comfortable and the TV had a good... More

Isolated hotel far away from Battle, so do not book thinking that you will be within walking distance of Battle village. Our very small double bed room was in urgent need or redecoration and smelt very damp. Breakfast was satisfactory but the sausages were char-grilled and the baked beans tasted as if they had been reheated from previous day. It... More
