Only stayed for one night as a small getaway for myself and my little sister. The woman on reception was so friendly and recommended a place to eat and explained to us with a map exactly where our plot was. The toilets were within view of our tent, as was a small playground so I could keep an eye on... More

Just spend a wonderful weekend at Brakes Coppice Park campsite. The site is small and friendly, with a well stocked little shop, very good toilet and shower facilities (drench showers are the best I have ever had on a campsite!), There are lots of bins and water points and the washing up area is also more than adequate. You can... More

Unfortunately the weather drastically interfered with our stay having rain of biblical proportions over two days didn't help us see this site at its best. The owners were certainly friendly and helpful but the site (in our opinion) is in need of some tlc. The toilet block is functional with only 3 wc's and two showers in the gent's and... More

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing weekend here. The owners are friendly and helpful and keep the site well maintained and looked after. The showers and toilets were kept clean throughout the day and the shower's lovely and warm. Spent the weekend enjoying the sunshine whilst watching all the wildlife all around. Will be returning... We stayed here over the May bank holiday weekend. Little onsite shop is great for basics, showers were warm and clean and facilities were well managed. Staff in the shop were helpful when we needed directions. Great for families with small children as the little play area in the middle can been seen from most of the pitches in the... More

This small site has a very rural feel yet it's just a few minutes' drive from the major resort of Hastings & St Leonards, and also convenient for a large out-of-town Sainsbury's and the characterful historic little town of Battle. It's in a narrow, sloping valley at the bottom of a steep, winding lane through a wood. Pitches are informally... More

I have just had an email thread of conversation with the owners of this site. I sent the same email to five sites within the locality just initially enquiring that it was a little late I realise, but would there be availability this weekend? Four of the five all replied in similar vein - the type of availability they had,... More

A well located campsite away from the hustle of the busy town. Other than the wildlife you will only hear the occassional train rumble or the tractor in the adjacent field. Otherwise very peaceful (site inhabitants dependant)! Facilities are reasonable and clean (very basic) but adequate for a small site. There is also a small lake for fishing. However, it... More
