From the minute of our arrival we were made welcome, our room was spotlessly clean, the food was excellent and so many little touches that made our stay perfect , looking forward to our next visit. Bob and Pauline were brilliant, especially Pauline's home made cake waiting for us when we arrived home from our day out.

Once again the comfort, friendliness and welcome was top notch. Pauline and Bob are perfect hosts who strive to always ensure 5* experience. Breakfast choice is varied and interesting, my husband is diabetic and everything was catered for. Lilac Tree Cottage is "Goldilocks" - everything is "just right".

Just been to stay at this delightful B & B in Battle, can only praise the owners for their friendliness, warm welcome and extremely high standards would recommend Lilac Lodge to any one looking for a good quality B & B in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Pauline had sourced all the ingredients locally.
