We love to visit this place with the family. A real nice welcome, fun for the kids and generally a very relaxing place. Even now the kids are little older (13 and 11) they still like to do the activities like snorkling in the pool and archery in the surrounding woods..

Pool is a bit small considering it's open to the public as well the camp could do with its own pool as the members should have theirs changing facilities very cramped lucky to get a locker . The actual lodges are lovely we stayed go here while we were having repairs done to our house nearby it was only supposed... More

Always had a fantastic relaxed stay at Crowhurst park , it has been a few years since we have been and accommodation has always been good We stayed in a Colorado lodge, spacious 2 bed with bathroom and ensuite and more storage than we have at home. Christmas tree and lights in the lounge added to the festive feel. We... More

Had The Heritage (No 44) for 4 nights. The accommodation was the best yet compared to previous visits - 3/4/5 years ago. Family of 4 were able to meet other family members. The bed was the most comfortable I have experienced on this site, but can empathise with other comments as previous visits the mattresses were not great. The equipment... More

Lovely location. Nice cabins. We had the one with a hot tub (very smelly) stagnant water and lots of chemicals. Beds were absolutely horrendous. Couldn't sleep for more than 5 minutes at a time without a spring poking you in the ribs, left a day early as we couldn't bare to stay in them beds for another night. They don't... More

We attended a friends wedding in the house at Crowhurst and everything was so good. The venue itself was quite a trek but well worth it. The room used for the ceremony was nicely appointed with seating for all the guests, and the registrar was very good and put the happ couple at ease. Sit down meal after in the... More

Wedding was great, very kind and helpful staff. Great food and beautiful grounds. Worked in lots of wedding venues but this one if the best run. All staff were very well informed about the day and nothing was to much trouble. Look forward to photographing a wedding there again soon.

We had a Minnesota lodge (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) and it was disappointing to say the least. Our lodge was one that hadn't been updated in a long time. The kitchen didn't have nearly enough in it, only 5 knives but the lodge is meant to hold 6 people?? No spatula, annoying when trying to cook anything on the stove... More

We just wanted a getaway for half term with our children aged 5 and 7. We had Virginia 2, which was a 2 bedroom pine lodge. It is getting a little tired now, with paint peeling and dated bathroom but that did not make a difference to the enjoyment of our stay. Most of the lodges that we saw seem... More
