The lodge we stayed in and surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. Friendly restaurant and bar staff. Games room was excellent and the play park was lovely. My younger children aged 9 and 3 enjoyed the woodland walk. My older children aged 14 and 12 enjoyed the tennis court which is free to hire for an hour a time. The swimming pool... More

We stayed at Crowhurst this weekend with another family - all our children 5 and under. Not really sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The 'lodges' were really wooden caravans, slightly smaller than expected but clean, great views and really good outside space for the kids to run around. The pool was great, the play area good... Lovely little wooden lodge sit in large grounds, our lodge was a 2 bedroom lodge, overlooked a large field with fantastic views, had a visitor every morning the resident fox would sit on my veranda waiting to be fed without fail he was there everyday my partner recorded this on her smartphone. The spa facilities on site were very good... More

We stayed at Crowhurst Park a few weeks ago on our first family holiday - myself, my husband and our 8 month old baby. We hired a Virginia lodge for the week and were pleased with it. The living room was a good size which gave the baby plenty of space to roll around! The kitchen was small but adequate... More

I chose Crowhurst because of the 'Go Active' opportunities as both children (12 & 10) love being active. Very disappointing. On arrival we were told 4 of the activities would not be on offer during our stay - 3 of which the children wanted to do - snorkelling, sea scooters and fencing. The only activity the children did was water... More

We stayed in Garden plus 102 in the walled garden area. The lodge was clean and comfy. We had our 4 y/o and an 8 month old baby with us. I hired a high chair chair and travel cot - both fine. The bedrooms are a bit small but the living space is a good size. We had a veranda... More

This was our first break away as a new family & Crowhurst Park was ideal! A great location to explore the Coastal town of Hastings and picturesque Battle, yet tranquil to feel away from home. We stayed in a Colarado Plus lodge, located in the walled garden. A 2-bed lodge with modern decor, all mod cons & surprisingly comfy beds... More

Crowhurst is a very easy place to enjoy yourself. The restaurant serves good food at a very reasonable price and the chef clearly takes pride in the work he or she does. We stayed in garden lodge 101 which was clean and well furnished although the outside is beginning to look a little tired.

The staff were great even when I asked to change the lodge due to mistake in the booking, the lodges are a mixed bag so look carefully at what your requirements are as I required a walk in shower This is a good place to relax or take the children

We spent a long weekend in a Colorado Plus lodge with friends staying in the Garden lodge opposite. Our weekend was perfect- he two types of lodges were different in decor with the Colorado having a very modern feel and the garden being more rustic, but both lodges were spacious and clean, accommodation provided all that was needed for the...
