Good friendly atmosphere. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Food good. Good choice of gluten free meals. Good night out with friends. Price reasonable. Will go again. Great evening out. Close to station so didn't need to drive.

We booked into The Bull Inn after visiting the Abbey and battlefield. We were warmly welcomed, even though the bar was pretty busy and got to see the room before we booked in. After the flea-ridden room we'd ended up in the night before (sight unseen), this was much appreciated. Our room at The Bull was lovely and we both... More

We enjoyed four nights at The Bull Inn where the staff and owners were very friendly and made us most welcome. The food, especially the breakfasts, was excellent and we would thoroughly recommend a stay. We hope to return one day.

Nice B & B with downstairs pub. Food is good. Breakfast is excellent, possibly the biggest you will see. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. The pub is located in the middle of the high street.so it is ideal for everything.

Stayed for a few days. Clean room with ensuite although shower was a bit small. Nice bar areas with good selection of beers, Good menu with average prices but nice food. Super "English" breakfast, nice staff. Located in the middle of the village - there's only one street - so being in a dood location isn't hard! No problems with... More

Having decided on a whim to travel to Battle for the music festival following the carnival, we booked ourselves into The Bull once there. Kerri was warm and friendly, showing us the room before we made up our mind. We found the room clean and comfortable. The linen was excellent and the night's sleep fantastic. We had a great time... We have been to the Bull a couple of times, the girls are always very friendly, the food is not your typical pub grub, what we've had is well cooked and put together, the burger is not for the faint hearted Amazing!!!. Go visit next time your in the area you wont be disapointed.

Stayed for one night over the may bank holiday. On arrival the welcome was not the warmest but this was the only low point and the welcome from other staff increased greatly as our stay went on. We stayed in a very pleasant, modern and exceptionally clean Room 5. The sleep was comfortable and the shower worked well. We didn't... More

A welcome greeting, a plain but clean room. Very popular pub where we enjoyed a lovely meal. The landlord was a mine of local information. Despite being at the front of the pub we had a good sleep in a comfortable bed and a great visit to the abbey.

Found the Bull inn in late afternoon our 2nd day in our tour of the UK. After a quick enquiry at the bar & an inspection we paid up front for a well travelled but agreeable room at a great price. The only minor gripe was the TV was a bit small but the bed was comfortable and the room... More
