We have been here twice and enjoyed both stays very much. This is a very friendly hotel where you get a warm welcome. The location is superb, just a 5 minute walk gets you in to the town centre and the seafront. We take advantage of their special deals and on this occasion we paid £89 for a king size... More

Stayed for 1 night in the Southwold room. It was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is just a short walk from the town, so it's an ideal, good value option for when we visit Southwold.

This is my 5th new year at the Blyth and as usual the reception we received when we arrived was lovely and check in was easy with us being given our keys straight away to the lovely Southwold room. It was huge and very nice but does need a little TLC as its looking tired. The new years eve party... More

We have regularly visited Southwold for a number of years and are always looking for establishments that improve their standards - or drop down the pecking order - because of changing hands or other factors. So it is that our last few meals at The Blyth have been both very enjoyable and good value. With a couple of friends we... More

This was the second time we have decided to stay at the Blythe, we were made very welcome, the room was of a good standard and the staff worked hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast and dinners were of an excellent standard. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

We usually come and stay at the Blyth near Christmas as Southwold is magical and this is a very comfortable hotel, when we arrived we were greeted by Claire who remembered us from past years which was lovely. We do try and stay in the Southwold or Alburgh rooms unfortunately we were not able to have those this time, the... More

I am now staying in a beautiful hotel in Lowestoft which makes me realise just how terrible my stay at the Blythe Hotel was. I paid almost £100 for a tiny room, which overlooked a road on a roundabout, had a huge extractor pipe from the kitchen outside the window making a deadening noise most of the time, the room... Since our last visit the decor has been tastefully updated and in our opinion has made the rooms more cosy. The hotel was very clean during our visit, food excellent, all staff friendly and helpful. No need to loose your interest as we recommend the Blyth to stay, eat or just for a drink. We will be back!
