I had planned a trip to visit RAF Mildenhall and looked around for a local hotel so I also get to Lakenheath. The location of this place suited me being south-west of Mildenhall and at £55 was good value. I was allocated the Robin room which was a good sized room facing over the gardens and open land to the... More

Kept waiting for Basil Fawlty to appear ! This place has such potential but sadly lacking in the basics you expect these days .. Needs a sharp injection of cash and a good clear out of clutter. Our bedroom was clean enough but bad smell from bathroom and noisy road just outside kept us awake. I love quaint but this... More

Having read poor reviews on Trip Advisor I called the hotel & they assured me that these reviews were associated with external suppliers for a recent wedding making errors. Foolishly I believed them! I was also told that the room I was allocated (Wren), was one of the better rooms! How bad could a one night stay at a 'Hall... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and were offered the Coach House which was self contained for a reasonable price. The breakfast was the usual spread, the staff very helpful and it was nice and quiet. It was 'old world', dating back to the 1800's the double bed was a four poster and the bath was stand alone and deep,... More

Came for Sunday lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got married here 9 years ago, clearly has gone downhill since. I've never written a bad review before but this was probably the worst place I've ever eaten. Glass was dirty, old lipstick stains, more fat than meat on my beef, watery cauliflower cheese which was the only hot bit... More

So my dog liked it, it is pet friendly. (although the housekeeper is afraid of dogs so if you bring one, you won't get your room cleaned). But, to repeat what others have said, it was dirty and there were ants. The owner's customer service was awful. He charged me for 4 nights even though I stayed two. And made... More

Had a brilliant nights stay at the worlington, the ambience and cute American burgers were delightful, plus our room was delightful too, would definately recommend the Worlington to everyone while staying in the surrounding area

I booked to stay at this hotel because my friend was having her wedding reception at the Worlington. I requested a double room for myself and my parter. Apon arrival we wished to drop our bags off before enjoying the reception. We collected our key and payed for the room (£89). When we entered the room (greenfinch) we were surprised... More

This hotel needs a serious quality overhaul. It is below the minimum standards expected. Attempts have been made to renovate the bathrooms, but the finish is laughingly poor. For example the taps rocked and the new rectangular loo bowl was fitted with a round seat, which moved about alarmingly in use. The lid moreover would not stay up. Most of... More

Me my husband and daughter booked this hotel in December 2014 as we were going to Newmarket races in May 2015, we arrived on the Friday evening paying £475 for 2 double rooms, we were given the keys to our rooms, the man on reception didnt know were our rooms were and we were left to find the way, the...
