Clean & comfortable, must have lifted their game since some of the past reviewers have stayed there. Good value for money we only paid on-line advanced booking £29. There is a Little Chef nearby if you want a meal. Good for a one night stopover. more

this Travelodge appears to be an older one, however, it was really clean. I have to say the lady on reception was most helpful in assisting in finding me other accomodation for other parts of England and providing information on buses and trains. the rooms were clean... the cleanest of the Travelodges that I stayed in. A Little Chef is... more

There has been a big improvement to the cleanliness of this Travelodge. It is one of the older Travelodges and last year was quite discusting. However, it seems that they now have improved their cleaning and our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Good value for money for a short stay. more

Do not stay in this hotel! It is disgusting! And I mean disgusting! I can't believe that other reviewers have said it is clean. Believe me it is not! I travel extensively for work in the UK and abroad and this is the worst hotel I have experienced in years. The room we were allocated was filthy - we were... more

We stayed in this Travelodge on 9th December 2007. Firstly I must say that I realise that Travelodges are budget hotels and that one cannot expect luxury, however the reason for chosing them is the belief that one gets a guaranteed, reasonable level of cleanliness. We were initally allocated room 101 which was absolutely fility- there was dust on many... more

stayed for one night when going to newmarket evening race meeting. The hotel was fairly easy to find but on a busy roundabout. Hotel basic but spotlessly clean, we arrived at 2.30pm on a friday and the room was ready. We were running short of time so ate at the little chef, food ok but service terrible. On saturday morning... more

This is the second time we've stayed here. In appearance it looks like one of the older travelodges and inside confirms this. Older hotels in this chain can sometimes be a bit shabby but that wasn't the case here. The rooms are the usual travelodge setup, but most notably for me the shower was very powerful, no standing under a... more
