Field end guest house Leiston, a good traditional guest house, all very neat and clean with a comfy room and nice breakfast. The tea tray in the room included biscuits and KitKats and a drinks chiller held bottled water. Mr Woods is a pleasant host. We had very good stay.

We stayed one night in October for a visit to Aldeburgh and Southwold. The guest house is well located for sightseeing in the local area. We had the em suite room which was well equipped and comfortably furnished. There were a variety of drinks in the room and biscuits and chocolates. The bed was very comfy and the room overlooked... Excellent traditional B&B and ideally suited for those that do not want the hussle and buzzle when staying in a guest house. The rooms are superb and herbie the owner has thought of absolutely everything , surprisingly very quiet aswell even though it's on the corner of a main road. So don't let that put you off at all. We... More

A plesant enough stay here, everything you'd expect and a nice freshly cooked breakfast, and a genial host. Bed comfortable, the shower was Ok and nice touches like toothpaste and shower gels. The room was a good size, and the en-suite worked fine. Lots of dust around though! Location not wonderful but that's not their fault!

Booked a room direct over the phone a couple of days before. Quite rightly the proprietor Mr WOOD asked that we contact him with plenty of warning if we decided to cancel!!!! Now this should have been a warning that Credit cards were not accepted as we weren't asked for our card number when we booked as most establishments do.... More

We booked this guest house as a simple stop over for a wedding we were attending locally. The intention was just to find a simple, clean guest house to sleep over on a budget. We were pleasantly surprised by finding more than that. The price was competitive with most of the other establishments in the locality, but the attention to... More

The room was clean and great to sleep in. We had a nice overnight stay after flying in from the US. Good breakfast and nice location.

Looking forward to a nice B&B in the country my partner and I were disapointed when we found The Field End Guest House. The quirky, dated feel was not to our taste but with a positive attitude this can be overlooked, until you need the loo, or anyone else for that matter. Our room being near the communal bathroom, we... More

My husband and I stayed at the Field Inn in Leiston on a business trip. The Inn is very convenient to downtown Leiston (within a 5 minute walk) and a short drive to the Sizewell power plants. The owner Herbie Wood was extremely helpful and accommodating. He even drove us to the closest train station in the next town over... More
