Had a very warm welcome from Karen, she was a very helpful and cheerful host. The room was more than we expected and very large. Having its own front door so no worries on a late return after a night out. Karen cooked up a fantastic breakfast which set us up for our day. The room was very clean and... More

My self, mum and 4 year old son have just returned form a weekend stay here at the Stablecroft while attending my sister wedding in a near by town and all I can say is 'Beautiful'. We recieved a warm welcome from Kate and her husband on our arrival which was lovely. This is a chalet style B&B and it... More

I stayed at Stablecroft while walking the Stour Valley between Haverhill and Long Melford. The location would be ideal for those walking the Stour Valley path as it is close by (literally across a footbridge) and was my main reason for booking. The accommodation (right hand side) was large and well laid out with a small kitchen area if needed.... More

Karen, the owner of Stablecroft has a neat idea here. A cross between a self catering 'chalet' and a B&B. Booked both rooms (two of us working nearby) with both being roomy and well appointed with all the usual 'needs' of a B&B, but the right-hand 'chalet' also having a small kitchen, stocked with the usual utensils. So if you... More

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights whilst getting tattoos in Haverhill. Only an 8 minute drive from the B n B so this was perfect for us. Karen is a lovely and caring lady who makes the beset full English I have ever had! We had a lovely stay and made sure to tell Karen this with... More

Lovely B & B, very clean, great cooked breakfast, great having a little kitchenette area with toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge. After spending one night here one the way home, we are already talking about returning to stay for longer. Karen very friendly. It was also very quiet.

Down in Suffolk for a family function this weekend, and we booked in to a B&B. Im always a bit nervous about B&B's! The idea of sharing someones house fills me with dread and claustrophobia! I need not have worried! Stablecroft B&B is a building separate from the owners house which is divided into 2 holiday apartments. One, which was... More

It was the second time we stayed at Stablecroft. Once again it was just right. The B&B is set up in lovely quiet countryside. There were 4 of us, 3 adults and a teenage girl. The room was big enough, confortable and warm. The small kitchenette in the bedroom was very useful. Karen is very helpful and made us feel... More

My daughter started a new job in the area and stayed here for several nights recently. She had a self-contained room with a well equipped little kitchen and was very comfortable. She was particularly grateful for the warm welcome and the kind concern that Karen gave her - it's always a nerve-wracking time starting a new job, especially when also... More

Had a great stop over in this perfect B&B. Hospitality was great, the setting is quiet and in the middle of the countyryside andKaren couldn't do enough, she even booked us a taxi for our night out. The breakfast was the works and delivered to your room. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks
