We have stayed in different hotels in Felixstowe. We have visited the brook hotel before it became best western and after. I have to admit rooms look much much nicer after they have done the refurbishment. But the atmosphere is the same, lovely stuff always happy to help, nice and peaceful environment, great food.... I have to say people who work... More

Booked a room for 2 nights attending a family wedding in the hotel. Room was OK but the supplied hair dryer was almost impossible to use as it was wired through the dressing table and the lead was too short to allow it to be used freely. Only a contortionist could make full use of it. Doesn't anyone try these... More

I booked a room just for one night at this hotel through one of the online booking services. When I had booked it I went on to the hotels website and found out that they had superior rooms. I had only booked a standard room. I E mailed the hotel and asked for an upgrade to a superior room. The... More

We stayed for one night to attend a family party nearby. We had booked 3 rooms and we were all able to check in at 12:30, which was great after a long journey. The hotel was fully booked so other relatives stayed at the Orwell and were quoted an additional £20 fee for early check in when they arrived. There... More

Stayed in a superior room for one night whilst attending a family party in the area. Check in was quick and easy. Room 201 was newly refurbished, large and very clean and comfortable. My only criticism would be the way that the shower was angled made it impossible to stand under, and so had to have a hand held shower,... More

Stayed Sunday night in room 220. Enjoyable stay with clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly with nothing too much trouble. Had carvery meal on Sunday evening which was good with a choice of roasts of which you could have a bit of everything, the mashed potato was lump free and very creamy with a selection of roasties and veg.... I stayed at the Brook hotel the other weekend and I only have positive things to say. Lovely clean room (honeymoon suite) with friendly staff and very close to the beach and restaurants. Older building is much more preferable than new build hotels which are often soulless. Will stay again!

just returned from another visit to The Brook Hotel. We stay there usually twice each year when visiting friends. Since our last visit they have replaced all tired worn carpets for some bright new ones in all the corridors. The room was very spacious and clean with a large bay window. They are a bit mean with toiletries and only... More

Went here for a Sunday Carvery, and the food was of a high standard and plenty of it. We ate in the bar and the lady serving the drinks was very friendly and helpful and a credit to the business. Won't hesitate to go back again when next in Felixstowe
